Bill Harrigan was on The Game Plan tonight and he has said the standard of refereeing this season has been the best it has been in a long time. He said that any mistake the refs have made this season they have put there hand up and admitted to it. He also said that the referees speak to the players with respect and are never rude or arrogant with them.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Harrigan is full of crap!

I thought things under Finch were bad but they have gotten 100 times worse under Harrigan.

during that interview i just wanted to put my foot through the TV.

What does anyone else think of Harrigan's assessment of the refs this season?

It was the worst refereeing i have ever seen in Rugby league.

Penrith charge the ball down with only 5 seconds to go and burt jumps on it yet the ref said it was not played at by panthers. Then even worse with 1 Second to go the ref stops the clock for a change over.

WTF?

You don't stop the clock for a change over.

Also Fui had the ball stripped in a one on one tackle then he stripped it back and it should have been play on to Fui but the stupid ref made him give the ball back to the panthers player.

Also Etu makes a break and Coote crosses his arms and smashes Etu in the face knocking him out then picks up the ball and throws it out wide and they give them the try when it was clearly a penalty that should have had Coote put on report.

This was the most bias refereeing i have ever seen and it was a disgrace.

Parra won that game but had it cruelly taken away from them by refs who were showing pure favouritism to the panthers.

Harrigan will come out and say the refs got it wrong but that won't help Parra. They were robbed of a well earned 2 points tonight!

He has just signed a four year deal with St Helens starting from 2012.

Big loss for the Warriors i think.

What did people think of the game in general and the refs performance?

I thought Burt was outstanding and Hindmarsh was a champion. his defence saved our asses tonight and he should be an instant choice for SOO.

It was also the best game i have seen from our halves in a long time.

Webb off the bench was great and next week we have Fui back so having those two coming off the bench for us will be devastating.

Hayne has improved his defence and is looking good.

Point of view from some Cowboys supporters would be good.

As for the refs there was a few times players walked off the mark and nothing happened but other than that i think they did pretty good.

One thing though i think the elbow on Anthony Mitchell should have at least warranted a penalty.

As for the Cowboys i think they played well and were unlucky not to come away with the win.

With all of the injuries that are happening what do you think of changing the interchange rule from 12 to 14 and extending the bench from 4 to 6 or 8?

Would help when there is a big injury toll like some teams had this weekend but would also give teams a bit more talent on the bench to choose from.

What the hell happened?

Last week we were awesome and this week we played like the Eels of 2010!

Why the hell did they start with Keating over Maguire? They should never have re signed Keating as he sux.

We are in dire need of a quality half back, 5/8th, a couple of centres and some forwards with heart.

Credit to Panthers as they turned up to play but Parra did not.

If we keep playing like that for the rest of the season i see my beloved Eels taking home the spoon this year.
