Ok So I've been born and raised in Florida all my life, however my parents have not been. They are from haiti, my birth certificate says I was born here in Florida. (That's what it says on my actual birth certificate) My mom tried applying for an American Passport for me but somehow It never came in the mail. So I don't know how or what my mom did but she ended up a getting a haitian one. but the country of birth was all wrong it said "Haiti" I was furious. I was furious about it but she acted like it isn't a big deal. So now every time I go to like the DMV or places like that my mother hands them a "Haitian" passport" and think since its on the Passport from a legal document which isn't correct , and when I went to the Immigration offices with my mom, she gave them all the documents that made me look like I was an immigrant. She said she lost all my documents except for the haitian documents. Now I have to have a work permit, visa etc and worst of all I don't know how she forged my documents to make me look like I'm an immigrant, but is there anyway I can show these people that I'm not an immigrant, and what if she destroys my Birth certificate which proves that I'm an American. My mom also said she was trying to adopt a kid from haiti and she has almost the same name as me, and the files got messed up. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP, IS there any hope for me or is this how it ends?
