I just had work done to my car and then doing some research, I found out that the part that I just paid over $100 for is under a recall. Is there anyway to get my money back since it should have been covered under the recall notice?

I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota 4x2 truck with the 2.5 4 cyclinder 5 speed. Truck won't start. Fuel pump is working fine, has spark. Was running then just died and won't start. Replaced battery, didn't help. Any ideas? Yes, it does have gas.

How do you install a front wheel bearing on a 1998 Oldsmobile intrigue? This is the 3rd one i've been through in 1 month. Each time it is replaced by my husband it just continues to growl and hum like its going bad. I thought it was just a cheap one so I returned that one and bough a $250 one and it is now doing the same thing, it was never quiet. Any help would be appreciated. I don't know if he's not doing something right, or if its my car that wont take the new one.

I'm becoming a manager at a cell phone store, and I just want opinions, not rude comments, or judgemental comments. I just want to know if investing in a blackberry would be wise for me to do, seeing as how i have to remember alot of phone numbers, email addresses, and the business is mostly based through emailing everything. Sure there are computers at the store, but being manager i have to be on call, and be able to receive emails. Would it be a good investment? (again please, dont be rude about it, or put me down....) My boyfriend, is currently in NYS prison, for criminal posession of stolen property (felony), and they have a warrant for him in Penn state for grand larceny. What is going to happen to him after he gets parole on October 18th? Are they going to take him to PA, and if so, what could the possible outcome be? Thanks...

How can I get my apartment complex to let me have a pet? In the lease it says no pets, but I live alone, so people suggested I get a dog for company. How can I get them to say yes, any ideas on what I should say or do would be appreciated. thanks

My boyfriend was sentenced to 1-3 years in NYS prison. This was his first felony charge. He has already served 6+ months....how long will he be upstate in prison? Is one prison year really 10 months? If it is, and that time served counts...would he only have to do 4 more months?

Today my boyfriend was sentenced to 1-3 years, with the option of shock camp, and if he fails at shock camp, he would be resentenced to 6/5 split. (six months jail 5 years probation). He's already served about 7 months so far. he cant do shock camp because of some physical problems. i dont understand the 1-3 sentence. is it one year, two, what? he's defiently going to prison, but for how long? he's been well behaved since he's been in there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

When i put gas in my car it leaks out. it looks like its leaking directly down to my exhaust. is it the filler neck, or the filler neck hose...whats the difference?

My check engine light came on today, so i went to auto zone to have it checked. Transmission code came across the screen. my transmission is fine, meaning it doesnt shift weird, or slip, or rev or whatever. what could be making this code come up, even though my car runs fine.

I have a 96 Pontiac grand prix, and the other day, i was coming off an exit on the expressway, and i stepped on my breaks, and i heard this thumping noise. i thought maybe i had a flat tire, but no. it is my back passenger side, and whenever i step on my breaks it makes a horrible thumping noise. somebody told me it could be my shock, but they dont do that when u brake, and somebody else told me it was my calliber or hub. My dad looked at it and said my brakes weren't working on that tire. i dont know who is right, or whatever. any advice would be helpful. it does it when i speed up too, or just let off the accelerator. My apartment is kinda gloomy. I have one window, but it doesnt face outside, it faces onto a platform where the stairs are, i have one sky light over my kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. My living room is so dark and gloomy, as well as my bedroom(sorta). What can i do to brighten up my apartment, without painting the walls. Any inexpensive ideas would be appreciated! Thanks.

I want to build my own headboard for my queen size bed. I'm not sure what kind of wood it would be, or how big to get it? I know i would have to measure my bedframe, but should it be the same size, or a little bigger?

After a shower, my hands are extremely dry. They arent like that when I wash them normally throughout the day. Why are they so dry after my shower? Besides using lotion, is there any way to prevent them from becoming so dry?

My car was vandalized in Pennsylvania back in September. Police contacted me and asked how much damage was done to the car, over $711. I got rid of the car in December, due to fiancial problems and being unable to fix the damages to it. Am I still able to get the restitution paid to me for the car, even though I got rid of it?
