  • Volleyball knee injury, what can help?

I've been playing volleyball since around September last year and just recently I have noticed a small pain in my right knee. It's not super painful and it's more of an aching pain than anything else, but it still affects me when I play sometimes (especially when receiving). I don't want to end up causing myself more pain so I was wondering what I can do to prevent any serious injuries in the future. I've heard using a knee brace/support can help but I wasn't entirely sure.

  • Can an employer ask about your sexuality and religion?

Recently I applied for a waitressing job and I completed an online application for the restaurant. On the application they asked about my sexuality and religion and I was curious, is it legal to ask that? Not that I have a problem giving away that information, but I was wondering if it's alright for them to ask that.

  • Is this quote from the movie/ tv adaptation or the book?

Is this quote: "The agony is exquisite, is it not? A broken heart. You think you will die. But you just keep living. Day after day, after terrible day" from 'Great Expectations' the book or the screen adaptation?

  • Black screen, what do I do?

Recently I downloaded The Wolf Among Us on my Samsung tablet and I've really been enjoying it so far, but I've encountered a problem. Sometimes the characters go black and parts of the screen go black and I can't see anything which is extremely annoying, but I don't know how to fix it. An example was when Bigby found the glamour tube and is twisting the dials to try and open it, however I cannot see the dials so I'm stuck. What do I need to do to fix it?

  • Will the shops accept a 50 pound note?

So I'm going to my friends house for a sleepover and we're going to buy snacks and get pizza etc but I only have a 50 pund note from Christmas. I'm also taking the train and it's only £1.35 so I don't think they will accept the note. My dad told me to go to the shops down the high street and get some snacks with the note but I'm worried the Tesco won't accept the note, the post office is also closed now and I think the banks are too so I can't put it on my debit card. What shall I do because I have no smaller change?

  • What do I do about my school uniform?

When I joined my school in year seven they decided to change the uniform for girls. Instead of the plain black skirt the other years got to wear we have had to wear these ugly black skirts with green pleats, and we still have to wear them! I'm now going into year 10 and all the years below me have to also wear that skirt but some of the girls in my year have decided to just go in wearing the old ones and see what happens. I really want to wear the old one seeing as pretty much every single girl hates our skirts, the old ones look far smarter and the new ones are so expensive (roughly £40-50). It's really difficult for us to buy new uniform anyway, plus it's so unfair. So should I go in wearing the old skirt or stick to the ones we have right now? What do you think would happen if all the girls came in in the old one? (We now have a new head tecaher who's far more approachable and open to new ideas)

  • I'd like to learn a new language, where shall I start?

So I'm still in secondary school and would like to learn a new language. I'm already taking French but I've taken an interest in Swedish, however I have no idea where to start. I figured I'm still young so maybe I should try, but will it be too hard? Where should I start? What program shall I use etc. I just need some guidance, can anyone help?
