If I send someone an inbox message then deactivate my account, whilst opting out of messenger, will they still be able to see the message?
If I send a message to someone over inbox on Facebook and it shows the blue tick, then I deactivate my facebook profile whilst selecting "OPT OUT of messenger". Would they still receive my message? Would it just be my name greyed out but they can't reply to it? They would still receive and see it right?

I ve been texting this girl and the previous conversation ended with her saying "I m really patient, don t worry about that ;)".
A day later she sent another text saying "hey ninja how are you?". Our conversation went like this:
Me: Hello, cheeky, just practicing my ninja moves.. And also thinking about how really patient you ve been.. I give you an F
Girl: An F? Are you kidding me? I deserve more!
Me: You re getting detention, missy
Girl: Hahaha ok
Girl: A bew experience!
Girl: New*
Me: I guess that F was justified, you cannot spell :O
Girl: It s my phones fault
Me: I ll let you off
Girl: Thanks
Her last couple of responses, do you think I did something wrong? She ended up giving a one word response. The next morning I ended up re-initiating asking which part of her country she s from, to change subject.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating5 years agoAccidentally shined light into eyes and saw cobweb of squiggles?
So I was using my torch function on my phone and accidentally flashed it into my eyes. At this point I was already tired, eyes dropping and ready for bed.
I started seeing those light streaks when you blink, and that was only when I d see them through closing my eyes. I kept my eyes closed and sat in my bedroom which had all lights off, except for a bit of computer light.
I then started seeing black cobwebs of squiggles around me which freaked me out, it was like I could reach out and touch them and wherever I looked the "3D lines" followed, so I closed my eyes for a minute and now they are gone.
Apart from my eyes feeling a little bit achy, I seem fine but worried. Was this just my eyes recovering from potential damage, or is it potential retina damage which can cause damage? Going off what I ve researched.

There's this girl at work who I've flirted with and she flirts back playfully, I can see some interest. I've noticed is that when I passed her she gave me a nervous/shaky smile.
She also gets me to help her such as she shouted my name and asked me to remove a shelf for her. I've noticed she speaks quite softly with me compared to others.
The problem is she has a boyfriend, and I respect that enough not to make any advances on her. There is also some guy at work (not her bf) who talks to her and I can't help but feel jealous. I'm pretty sure she recognises this as she seems to openly flirt/joke around with him loudly when I'm around.
Started acting distant with her,. I feel like I'm doing this because I don't want to get "too attached" especially as she has a boyfriend.
I noticed when we were going to the shop as a group I felt a little jealous of her talking to the other guy so I ended up walking ahead into the shop, buying my drink then exiting with my mate making up an excuse to him that I needed to catch the bus. He mentioned to the girl that we were having to go.
The next day as I walked into work to start my shift, I said hello to my mate but I walked past her without saying anything and got on with working. After half an hour I noticed I hadn't seen her and asked someone where she was, but got told she went home because she felt ill.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating6 years agoFace looks different after a fortnight?
I took a picture of myself a fortnight ago and I've taken one now. My recent photo looks different to my old one in the same lighting/position.
My face looks longer and "droopier" and I can't understand why, like my facial structure has changed and gone more squared.. I feel that I look worse because of it.
Could this be due to lack of exercise and I've filled out in my face so my cheeks/jaw looks less defined? My diet has consisted of more junk food than usual.
If so, do I just stick with the exercise or are their any particular exercises to target my face?
5 AnswersOther - Skin & Body7 years agoWhen a girl likes a guy's photo that was uploaded a while ago?
What does it mean when a girl likes a guy's photo on Facebook, but one that was uploaded over a year ago? So it's not a photo that would have popped up on their timeline, nor is it their profile picture either?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoWhy do girls use the term "boyfriend" on someone that they aren't in a relationship with?
Why would a girl upload a picture on twitter/instagram of her smiling next to her guy mate with the caption "Me and my boyfriend (name) <3) when they aren't in a relationship/together?
(Been getting to know this girl so I directly asked her if she had a boyfriend to know where I stand, and if she did I was happy for her. She said "No I don't"

With this new iOS7 update for the iPhone, you can block contacts. Is there a way to tell you've been blocked?
1 AnswerMobile Phones & Plans8 years agoShould I ask her if everything's okay?
On Monday I texted this girl "Was away over the weekend, met your twin as well" but I didn't get a response, so 3 days later I texted "Hey squeak, you'll never guess what happened.."
An hour later she replied "What?".
Hours later that night (as I was busy the rest of the day) I texted "Well, I was in a race today alongside a giraffe and a raging lion. Then I realised you had to pay to ride the carousel.. Ideas on an escape plan?"
Then within a minute she wrote "Ah it came through from an email, (email address) eh"
I feel like there is something up as it seemed like she dismissed my joke? Although I did update my iPhone and apparently people have had problems where texts are being sent with peoples email addresses..
I ended up replying "Haha, came as an email?" and decided to dismiss that she didn't play along.
Is it worth eventually asking if everything is okay? Over a week ago we were talking fine, but then she started to give me answers like "Maybe" and "Depends", then took 5 days to reply to one of my texts with "Whether I want to or not"
2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoIs it worth telling a girl that you've "just seen her text" or to avoid saying it?
So I had a text conversation last Monday with this girl but she started giving me one word answers like "maybe" and "depends", but replying within a minute. I asked her if she always talked this much, she said "depends", I said "On what?" then I didn't get a reply for 5 days and she said "On whether I want to or not".
I couldn't understand whether she was playing hard to get or not as interested, but I guess she didn't have to reply.. she eventually did. I know I have been sometimes sending TWO texts in a row, I stopped that to become more of a challenge. Someone suggested I was on the same topic for too long.
Anyway, my question is seeing as I am going to start a new conversation.. should I tell a girl that I just saw her text from the weekend and that I was out with a friend?
Or should I leave the "just saw your text bit out" as it would be unnecessary?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoWhat do her words mean? Should I start a new conversation?
ME: You're an interesting girl, even with that weird marmite fetish of yours! Now you have to tell me something random about yourself [inside joke at the marmite thing]
(a day later)
HER: You like marmite as well so don't give me that sh*t
ME: Was joking! If you saw my obsession for the stuff, I'd have to change the locks to keep you out
(6 hours later)
ME: I know you don't have a weird fetish by the way, was teasing you! Text me at some point if you wanna talk. Off to bed early, have a good night sleep
(2 days later)
HER: How do you know it's not a weird fetish?
(2 days later)
ME: Depends. you're not the sort who smears it all over their body are you?
(Instantly reply) HER: Maybe
Me: Do you always talk that much
(Instant reply) HER: Depends
(20 min later)
ME: On what?
(5 days later)
HER: Whether I want to or not
What does this even mean? I thought maybe not interest after no reply, but she ended up replying like 5 days later when she didn't need to.. Someone suggested I was on the "marmite" topic for too long and should have changed the topic.
Do I carry on replying or should I start a totally NEW conversation?
6 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoShould I be worried or am I overthinking?
If the girl I like "favourites" one of her ex's tweets which said "It's all becoming a reality" (linked to a job he wants), should I be worried or am I overthinking?
We haven't contacted each other for 5 days, our recent conversation 5 days ago was this:

(a day later)

Someone said she might have got bored with the topic we were on and that I should re-initiate with a totally new topic?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoGirls - Why did she start going short with me all of a sudden?
So I've been texting this girl (haven't met) and latest interaction went like this:
Me: You're an interesting girl, even with that weird marmite fetish of yours! Now you have to tell me something random about yourself [inside joke at the marmite thing]
(a day later)
Her: You like marmite as well so don't give me that sh*t

(2 days later)
Me: Depends. you're not the sort who smears it all over their body are you?
(Within 20-30 seconds) Her: Maybe
Me: Do you always talk that much
(Within 20-30 seconds again) Her: Depends
(20 mins later) Me: On what?
I'm confused why she's being short with me? We usually ask each other questions about each other but I she started to reply quickly with instant replies. Why is she being like this?
I plan to not reply back soon and leave it a few days before I re-initiate, she could have had a bad day, etc I don't know..
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoIs this a suitable reply? Better suggestions?

How should I reply to this? I was going to say something like "Depends.. you're not the type to smear it all over your body are you?" but not sure, don't want to come off weird haha
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoDo I wait this out and not reply?
This girl I've been texting has an obsession with marmite, so I decided to tease her, textiing at half 8 last night:
"You're an interesting girl, even with that weird marmite fetish of yours! Now you have to tell me something random about yourself"
She replies at 4pm the next day saying "You like marmite as well so don't give me that sh*t"
An hour and a half after, I reply "Was joking! If you saw my obsession, I'd have to change the locks to keep you out".
Do I sit this out until she replies? I feel like telling her that she should "talk when she's not busy biting my head off for some silly reason" and that "i've got other things to be getting on with" but I'm not sure that is a good idea?
So do I wait it out?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoHow to react to her text?
So this girl I've been texting, she has an obsession with marmite so I teased her by texting at half 8 last night:
"You're an interesting girl, even with that weird marmite fetish of yours! Now you have to tell me something random about yourself"
She replies at 4pm the next day saying "You like marmite as well so don't give me that sh*t"
How would I reply to this? Sounds like she's annoyed at my comment, but I only teased her?
What's the best way to reply?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoWould this be insulting or just teasing?
So I'm going to text this girl later but I want to throw in a little neg, without coming across as insulting.
She was telling me about how much she loves marmite, so I want to tease her a little bit.
Here's something similar to what I would send "You're an interesting girl, even with your weird marmite fetishes! Now you have to tell me something random about yourself"
Is that insulting? Or does it look like I am negging/teasing her?
(I would phone but she's usually quite busy with work (two jobs) so I'd have to text her and ask when she'd be next free to speak, etc)
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoSlightly "negging" a girl over text without insulting her?
I was thinking about slightly negging this girl over text, as she has an obsession over marmite.
This is what I would send: "You're interesting, so tell me something about yourself. Just leave out your weird marmite fetishes ;-)".
I don't want to look like I'm insulting her, but I want to neg her slightly.. as in sneak in that she has a weird fetish but compliment her by saying she's interesting.
Or is there a better way to say it?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoBest to back off and see if she'll contact me?
So I ended our last text conversation with me texting "You'll have to tell me about it! Off out for a bit, talk to you later x". I didn't get a reply to this, figured it didn't require one anyway.
Three days later near 10pm I texted her "Just ate the world's greatest sandwich" to be spontaneous, not had a reply for an hour.
Usually I'm not that fussed if it's an hour, she's apologised twice for being busy with work, etc. she could be working late tonight, I know she does sometimes until midnight.
If she texts me later on at night, should I text her tomorrow morning apologising for falling asleep?
If she doesn't text me at all, should I back off and not contact her any more and let her come to me? She has initiated in the past.. but I do feel like I've been doing it a lot lately. Wondering whether to back off and see if she contacts me?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoWhich is the best opening text to a girl?
1) Just came back from the aquarium and saw the cutest fish there, it reminded me of you
2) How's my favourite little brat doing?
3) Just had the world's greatest sandwich
