If there were a transgender-friendly country, would you live there?
I created an imaginary transgender-friendly country where everyone can choose to live as a man or as a woman simply by presenting as their gender of choice--regardless of how masculine or feminine they look. So even someone who looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger can live as a woman if he is so inclined.

Any person can live as their gender of choice without physically transitioning. The catch is 1) changing one's body through hormones and/or surgery is frowned upon, and 2) male and female are the only genders recognized, so you must pick one.
If there were such a country in the real world, would you choose to live there instead of transitioning in your own country? If you have already transitioned, would you have preferred to live there instead of transitioning in your own country?

The problem is, I'm not sure where to get it listed so people who like imaginary countries will see it. What sites would you recommend?
3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWhat is an inverted transsexual?
I saw the term in something I read, but there was nothing that indicated what this means. I googled it and found nothing of value. I was hoping someone could clarify this for me.
5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoWhy is being homosexual or transgendered immoral if it doesn't hurt anyone?
If a man has sex with another man, or if a woman has sex with another woman, then no one is hurt as long as they are both consenting adults. And if someone chooses to transition from male to female or from female to male, the act itself doesn't hurt anyone (though when the person is in a relationship, the partner can be hurt by it, but that's a different story). So why is it a sin?
23 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoCan a foreigner be a kathoey or a fa'afafine?
I've read that Thailand and Samoa allow transgendered women (that is, women in men's bodies) to live as women (the names for these people are kathoey in Thailand and fa'afafine in Samoa) without altering their bodies. If a foreign woman in a man's body (say, an American) wanted to live as a woman, could she do so by emigrating to either of those countries? Or is such a thing allowed to native-born people only?
4 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoQuestion for straight women and gay men?
Would you want to get into a long-term relationship with someone who is a woman in a man's body who is not a transsexual? (I'm not trying to get a date or anything, I'm just taking a survey.) Why or why not?
6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoIs Asperger's Syndrome linked to being transgendered?
My dad thinks so, and there are people claiming that there is some kind of correlation, but I have not been able to find any evidence to back up this claim. Can anyone point me to such evidence?
2 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoHow do I promote my transgender website?
I have a website: Boy On The Outside, Girl On The Inside. (If you're interested, the URL is http://www.geocities.com/girlinside123/) It's for people with gender identity differences (i.e. those who feel like women in men's bodies or the reverse) who choose not to transition (change their bodies through hormones and/or surgery). I made it because I feel that transgendered people who choose to continue living as their birth sex are under-represented on transgender websites. I'm getting about 150 visits a week on average.
Anyway, here's my question. How do I promote it? I've submitted it to every directory I can find, but the big ones like dmoz.org and the Yahoo directory haven't accepted it yet (maybe it's just taking a while, I don't know). Most of my new visitors come from WebRing and Susan's Place. Also, I can't seem to get anyone to link to me.
For those of you who know a bit about the transgender community, any advice would be appreciated.
