Hi guys. I am a retired 50 yr old neurophysiologist, who decided to live simply, retire, and live near the beach.I gave up my cell phone, beeper, and any inclination to be at anyone else's beckon call 4 years ago. I was on active duty in the US Navy from 1982-1991. During that time I met some wonderful people of many different cultures in different lands. The lesson I have kept with me is how the things that are really important to human beings:our kids, family, shelter and food, good living conditions, education; these things are universal. It was during my Navy years that I was privileged to be assigned as a FMF hospital corpsman. I served in the Desert Storn campaign and came to regard my Marines as the finest people I have ever been around. I enjoy good banter and/or conversation, long walks on the beach, playing my guitars and cooking. It is my hope that we can all learn something and do our own part in making our country/world a better place to live in.
