House trained dog urinating around one person (not a fear issue)?
I have a 13mos old mixed breed pupppy, she is fixed, and (normally) house trained.
For some reason however, she has been urinating inside the house whenever my Mother is home. She never does this during the day, or at night when she is my room. She gets taken out regularly, and usually is good about letting people know she has to go. We are at a loss, it only happens around my Mother.
She is not afraid of my mother, that is for certain.. She will just be following my Mother around the house and bang, she decides to urinate, no warning at all... Or she will be chilling out with the other dogs while my folks watch a movie or TV and next thing you know there is a wet spot... again, no warning... and only when my Mother is home. She does not even try to hide it by going in another room or behind a chair or something (which is what she would do when I first got her before I"thought" I had trained her...
Anyone ever heard of anything like this or had this problem? My family are lifetime dog owners and have never encountered anything like this.
3 AnswersDogs1 decade agoDogs got into a scuffle, now one is acting weird with the other?
I have two puppies, One a little over a year old, the other 6 mos (also a 3rd older dog). The two puppies are a Dobie mix, about 80 lbs... the other is a Corgi mix (about 40lbs). Up until yesterday these two were best friends, but yesterday morning something happend, they got into some type of scuffle... we do not know if play just got too rough, or if they actually went at it for some reason... All we know is the little one was yelping and screaming like he was being hurt and wehn we I got into the room I did not take a second to see what was happening, I grabbed the Dobie and held away while the little guy ran off scared. Thankfully... neither was actually hurt... I was really scared the way the little guy was yelping.
But onto the actual question, now the Dobie is acting strange around him. She keeps standing over him just looking at him like daring him to try something. The little one is doing his best to be friends again, keeps trying to give her kisses and wagging his tail when she is around. She also keeps sniffing his butt.. (not unusual for dogs I know, but not something she does very often) and has not wagged her tail or seemed to relax in his presence at all.
Any advice? I have no clue how to handle this... I know if she really had wanted to hurt him, she could... but why is she the one acting weird... I would think the little guy would be acting weird around her. I just want them to be best friends again...

3 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoPrice difference between computer reseller and manufacture?
Do computer resellers like Tiger Direct, and the new Circuit City get special deals on some computers from the small manufacturers they work with? I keep looking at this $499.00 dollar Cybertron computer at CC's website, so I went to Cybertron's website to see if it was cheaper to buy direct, but the comparable systems, with basically the same equipment were $100 more... that seems kinda backwards... Im wondering if there is something Im not seeing that is the reason for such a big price difference.
The two comps have the same motherboards, comparable cpu, same ram, same graphics card... different case but not a 100 bucks worth of difference... same power supply... same operating system... etc etc...

Besides Western Kentucky this year, what other FCS schools are currently transitioning to the FBS? I know several of them squeaked in before the NCAA put in the moratorium.

6 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoPuppy behavior problem (Doberman Mix) .. Trainers please Help!?
I have a 7mos old puppy that I adopted at 12 weeks old. The rescue where I got her told me she was a Lab/Hound mix, but as she is getting older, it is becoming much more apparent that that "Hound" was a Doberman. I do not have any issue with that, I love her to death, but some of her Dobbie behavior is starting to show, and I have zero experience with the breed. Namely, her overly aggressive play style with other dogs.
She is constantly going after other dog's throats and faces, not in a violent way by any means, but I'm afraid sooner or later she is going to hurt my other dog, (as a puppy sometimes she forgets her own strength" because he will not fight back. He is a wuss...
She will not stop either, she pays zero attention to any commands when she gets in her play "fighting" moods, so no matter how many times I pull her off him and scold her, she just darts right back at him.
She has other behavioral issues, but as a Pup I expect those, Ive just never had a dog this aggressive when playing.... its the only time she is like that, no other aggression at all that I have ever seen.
Any experienced advice would be welcome.
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhy does yahoo allow kids here?
Is Yahoo answers the worst possible thing for kids?
Instead of people asking medical professionals whats wrong with them, they come here...
Pre-teen girls are allowed here to ask whatever, and boys too...instead of asking a parent or teacher....
Kids and adults come here to cheat on homework and tests...
I won't bother with the bigots.....
Im sorry, but some of the questions and the age's of the people asking then really scares me... a large percentage of the time children are on here getting uneducated answers to important questions that used to be asked to their parents or family members...and don't get me started on the pregnancy questions......
I do not have children..... and this stuff I see on this site just makes me even more hesitant to ever have any.... This site should be blocked in parental controls...
