I was in the Army Airborn in Vietnam in 68 to 69. Was station around the world. And I switched over to Marine Corp And was station in the fat East and the states. I went to colage and trained as a automotive mechanic and auto body tec. I reached an ASE and Master Mechanic. Have worked in many types of jos. Drove for several years as a over the road as a heavy 18 wheel Rig driver. One has to learn a lot about the laws in states one drives through.   • What has happen to automotive class shops in high school?

    It seem today there is real lack of basic training knowledge of the automobile and how it works. Knowing how to take care of it. Here is a little store. A young lady over three days had three vehicle towed into the shop. I checked each one over. All three vehicles has the same problems. The cause of the three locked up motors was the same. Zero as in no oil left in them. The engines were totally burn up and welded their parts together. I had guys bring a couple in over the years because of lack of oil.

    What happen to the auto shops in high schools? It seem teen know less and less about their ride. How to take clear of them. It seem they get a set of keys. They take off with out check the oils and water. Most don't even know were to check. So what happen to AUTO 101?
