  • Good Manga Recommendations?

Hello all, I am just poking around to find some good manga/manwha recommendations. I hope that the ones I have read (or caught up to) are good enough to get some recommendations.

    Here Goes:

Assassination Classroom - Good plot and character development but I'm slowing losing interest

Beelzebub- I really enjoyed reading the action scenes and the funny dialect.

Bleach- Drags on sometimes but I do enjoy it.

    Death Note- It's a classic.

Fairy Tail- Aside from the fanservice here and there, a very thrilling manga series.

    Gintama- My all time favorite.

Kuroko no Basuke - A good basketball manga series

    Naruto- Good series

Noblesse- Just caught up with this, just simply amazing.

Onihime VS- Rushed ending, good start, just a really rushed ending.

Rosario to Vampire- First Season was good, lost interest in the second season.

Slam Dunk- I am a basketball junkie so I really liked this.

Unbalance x Unbalance- The only romance manga that I've liked so far.

I hope my unnecessarily placed commentaries can help with some good manga recommendations. Once again, thank y'all.

  • Financial Aid Award Letter Help?

Hello all. I have a few questions about a Financial Aid Award I received from a school I got accepted into.

I got the Financial Aid Award Letter and it was broken down into two parts and this is where I got confused.

So the Cost of Attendance is (let's say) 25,000. This is one the right side of the letter.

And on the right side, it says "Need Calculation" and it has a bunch of numbers that included "Estimated Family Contribution" and there was a final number on the bottom that says "Need."

(Let's say this number is 20000)

My question is, do I have to pay this "Need" that the School offers if I accept it?

  • Buying a Used Car and Now I want to return it?

I recently purchased a used Toyota from a dealership and got a good deal on the car. However, they let me take the car home (relative drove for me) and gave them a down payment. After going home and doing the math, I found that they screwed me over when they blindsided me with good warranty promises and a low interest rate. After the down payment, I owe 12,000 and have to make a monthly payment of 355.68 for five years and it adds up to almost $26,000! That is almost 10,000 more than the agreed upon price and I know I can't afford it so can I return the car or renegotiate?

By the way, I live in Texas and purchased the car last night.

  • Sim Card Problem Help?

I have a Sim card on my phone. I've been using it for over 3 years and had it used in one of the Nokia XPress Music Player phones. It had over 110 songs on it and one day everything that I have saved from the Sim card just disappeared. I tried to restart my phone but that doesn't work and on different occasions the songs will be back and now they aren't showing up at all. Is there any way to retrieve the songs or do I have to get a new Sim card and start downloading songs again?

  • Is it fair that the Cinco Ranch Association is controlling my actions around my home?

Well. I have a basketball goal in my front yard and it took me a while to get it up. I got everything set up and have sandbags in the back to you know hold it down. The Cinco Ranch Home Owner's Association said they wouldn't allow it and so we took them out. A big storm hit my area and the court collapsed and now most of the backboard and the rim is messed up. The goal cost me a lot of money so I decided to keep the thing stable by burying it under my front yard. The back part of the court that holds everything from the ground is buried leaving the pole and the backboard and the rim. Now the big back side is covered completely with dirt so I decided to plant some flowers on it to make it look nice. And then again the Cinco Ranch Association disapproves what I did. They said at first that it was against the rules for me to bury a basketball goal. And that planting things on it is also against the rules. So we have to go through this whole process of submitting a modification and planting flowers in the back. In two months I have not received word from them and then recently they have said and I quote that they DENIED my application to place a goal there and the reason why was and I quote

" Goal/Planting is not harmonious with house or neighborhood. It appears to be a portable goal stuck in the ground at an odd angle. It looks very out of place."

Now they want me to remove my basketball goal or modify it to bring my property into compliance with the guidelines they set and resubmit the changes I made to them. I apologize for my long story but here are my questions:

Is it fair that they (Cinco Ranch Association) can have a say in everything I do even though the home is owned by my family?

I have never signed or agreed to any guidelines they set to my home (community) so why do I have to follow them?

Is there any law in the state of Texas or the city of Katy or even the sub-community Cinco Ranch that forbids me from doing what I did?

Since they disapproved of what I did and the fact that I had no other choice to bury the goal since the instructions said to go with sandbags I had to follow it or else it would collapse (and it did). There was an alternative solution and it was to put water (anti-freeze) into the back part of the goal and since it collapsed it was no longer usable how am I supposed to keep the goal up?

My family works hard for the money we have and we are not buying a new basketball goal to solve the problem. I have also made some changes in the past that they also DENIED that have been approved in other homes around my community. Could it be the fact that since my family owns a larger home than others that we get more attention? Or the fact that we are Asian and we live in (not trying to racist here) a White majority place that they are racist towards us? (Though I highly doubt that)

Last question: If they take legal action against me (and they will) can I use Yahoo! Answers as a source of counter-arguments.

    Thanks.
