  • Does Skechers shape-up shoes work? Anyone actually try them?

I am a STNA so I'm on my feet CONSTANTLY and walk about 95% of my shift, and I'm also the mother of a 17 mo old who keeps me on my toes as well :) Anyways, I am in need of a new pair of shoes and was wondering about the Skechers shape-up shoes. I'm just thinking, a 100$ pair of shoes had better do what they say. I've read that some users report they are low impact on leg joints, esp. knees and do help with alignment - which if that is true I'm already sold. (I have arthrits in rt. knee at 28) So if you or anyone has tried these tacky soles please respond - thank you!

  • Weanling hood issues!?

My 9 mo. Old colt is partially body clipped to get ready for upcooming show. Now he's fine with his blanket and fine with his lycra full body (head to tail) under liner too. Now I got him a winter hoodie as I am moving from AZ to OH in 3 weeks so the lil man don't get cold. But the little stinker keeps trying to get it off overnight and getting stuck. Either he gets his nose in an eye hole or the hood is pushed up over his noodle. I just dunno what to do about it? Any ideas or options on how to keep it on?

Yes, its the right size, yes he is a stud colt, and no just taking it and leaving it off is not an option.

  • ~*Need some weanling feed advice*~?

Howdy! I just got my first weanling paint colt (8 mo. old) I bought him from a reputable breeder with killer bloodlines; however, his only flaw is a potbelly. I've wormed him on just Zimectrin but will try the Gold (what I originally wanted to use but my hubby picked up the original) He's on Alfalfa and Strategy and some oil. Now, I am just wondering what other weanling owners feed their babies so I can compare as what they feed, he is a World Show futurity prospect and want this belly gone! :)

  • Gas spent on hauling a horse....anyone gimmie a guesstimate? or know a hauler?

Ok, I need to go pick up my new colt. His coggins and health check will be done on the 4th and I have to move him ASAP because the owner is bringing in the new batch of broodmares and foals. I've had one heck of a time trying to find a hauler that can do it - either can do it the week after or they want to way over charge. Anyways, I'm looking at prob going myself and bite the bullet. Will be using a 1/2 ton truck - ford F150, hauling a light 2h bumper and picking up a paint weanling. The milage in the end will be about 950, there and back (roughly 24 hrs total driving time) anyone give me a estimate how much gas/mile (will be in nevada for most of driving where gas costs about 3.50) OR if you know a hauler - please help!

  • What is your opinion on baby/toddler modeling?

Ok, first I have an 11 mo old son. He gets complimented by tons of people everywhere we go how alert, personable and mostly how dang adorable he is. He has huge deep blue bright eyes, all 8 front teeth and platinum blonde hair. He's also a ham for the camera and will smile when asked. Id like to contact a baby magazine or something to see if he's got it. No, I'm not trying to exploit my son either, its also not about $. And if you are just going to be mean and completely negative, then please don't respond, thank you!

  • My iPhone app store won't let me download?

I actually have the newest model iPod and my husband gave me his account info to download apps. It was working fine until I downloaded some apps and loaded some iTunes. Then the apps wouldn't run, so I deleted them to just redownload( they were just free apps) and the app store pops up that 'a secure connection could not be established. Please check your date and time settings' so how can i get this to work again? help would be appreciated
