K so I've been interested in joining the United States Army. I have to recheck, but I may already have 28 college credits without an associates degree. Will that get me a higher rank than E1?

I was supposed to graduate this may, but no one told me I still was in need of one more corse in order to graduate.... So now I have to wait until January 2015 to graduate and receive my diploma. So my over all question is, will the army reward me with rank for my 28 college credits, or is it required that I have the diploma in order to make rank? Thanks guys.

K, so I am thinking of graduating community college with an associates degree in general studies. But I would like to become a chemist. So I am wondering, what are my opportunities in a field like chemistry, with an associates in general studies?

Can I graduate community college with a general studies degree and then graduate a four year school with a bachelors degree in chemistry?

I originally saw a recruiter in 2009 I gave them a copy of my high school diploma, the whole military thing wheat nowhere. Until now, I want to join the military, but I can't find my high school diploma. Will the recruiting office still have a copy of it, or do they have some kind of policy preventing them from holding on to such things for that amount of time? After all, I never joined. Why would they keep the copy for 5 years. Sounds silly, but it's a genuine question, plz help.

I did a lot of the core classes, I have 32 credits in general. Now I'm working towards 72 in my actual program, if accepted.. Is that weird? I'm not in community college still because I've failed, I'm still there because I never really took full time schedules, and so now I'm paying for it -_- should I be conserned, I don't exactly know how to feel about this lol. I know I'm not waiting time, like I said Im not failing. But then again it's taking for f'n ever!

When carbon enters the earth as CO2 how is C and O2 split? Is it because of photosynthesis or do the two elements split after an organism eats the plants? Meaning one way elemental carbon is produced is from soil (poop) or dirt?

Ok so I am debating between light energy and chemical eneergy.. I would personally want to say light energy because all organisms depend on the sun for energy, but then again chemical energy is essential for 'work' can someone please clear this up for me?

I'm having trouble with this concept in chemistry. Obviously we convert many many many units. But when is it nessesary to report an answer in scientific notation? I instinctively want to report all large numbers in scientific notation, and Apperantly it's incorrect todo so. Can anyone please explain to me in what situation (aside from my teacher asking for it) I should report my answers in scientific notation?
