I am big into old-fashioned values and try to use basic horse sense when counseling others. I feel that there should be more appreciation of the differences between the genders and teach classes about such things. I have also created classes for marriage and home making and for single women. I am an artist, sing in the choir and am deeply in love with my dear husband. We have 4 grown children whom we are very proud of. I loved home-schooling my kids all the way through high school and this was back when it was a scary thing to take on. I was a foster parent for years and had 25 children come through my home. I loved it! But it was a challenge. It did give me a wide variety of experience though. I totally believe in volunteerism having helped to support La Leche League, Hospice and Sons of the American Revolution, The Red Thread as well as the Submarine Veterans and many church projects. My main encouragement to share is "Choose to live happy, it is a choice after all".
