where do FIFA's profits go?
Do the profits get distributed to stake/share holders or are the profits put into charities, or what exactly happens with the billions of dollars that FIFA makes (especially around world cup time)
1 AnswerOther - Soccer9 years agoI need a good excuse for not going to lunch with colleagues?
I have just started some study which is not related to my work, potentially allowing me to change career in the future. I don't want to let anyone at work know that I am doing this, as it would impact on my colleagues impression my motivation for work.
However, my study requires me to attend an online lecture (which I do in my car) 2 one hour lunch times per week. Until I started this study, I went to lunch with some of my colleagues every day. I have made excuses the past few weeks, but they are asking more and more questions.
Can anyone think of a believable excuse that I could use to get out of this on an ongoing basis? Also, my studies will be going on for the next 9 months, so I would need to last this long.
4 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agois there a benefit to installing games on my SSD drive or will i get similar performance on my standard hdd?
I have just built a pc, I won't go through the full specs, but it has a 128gb ssd (150mbps write speed i think), as well as a 1tb HDD (not sure of speed, runs on SATA II though). I have my OS on the SSD as I know this makes a big difference, but a friend of mine said that the GPU (GTX465) and the CPU (i7 950) and the RAM (6gb, not sure of latencies) are the limiting factors and installing it on my SSD wouldn't benefit performance which I thought was strange. Could someone please clarify this for me in some reasonable detail so I know whats best to do. It's not as if my SSD is near capacity, but I don't want to waste the space for no benefit.
Thanks all

1 AnswerInvesting1 decade agoHow to learn Trigonometry and Calculus?
I am 25, and thinking about a career change, possibly going into engineering, but want to refresh my knowledge on Trig and Calculus as I haven't looked at it in 8 years and it is vital for engineering studies. I have a scientific calculator, not sure if I need a graphics calculator as well. I wasn't sure if there was anywhere on the net that I could go to get this information. I am happy enough just to work from a text book, but don't really know what would be most helpful.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
