I work in a little family owned italian restaurant. I'm a delivery driver, and when i'm inside the restaurant i bus tables, take phone calls, clean dishes, pretty much whatever needs to be done. and i was wondering if it's normal or common for money to be taken out of your check for a customer receiving a wrong or messed up food order? because just two days ago, a delivery order was ready. so i bagged it up for the delivery driver that was working. and while he was on the delivery i guess some of the sauce of one of the dinners leaked out of the paper bag it was in and got all over everything else, and on the inside of the insulated delivery bag. it was about a 40$ delivery and the customer complained and the next day my manager told me and the delivery driver had to pay for that order. because i bagged it, and he delivered it. so we both had to pay 20$. i don't think this is right at all. 20$? thats like 3 hours of the 5 hour shift i worked that night. i'm a student and i think that's messed up for them to do that. if we just had to pay for the one order that leaked, id be ok cause id only be like 7 bucks. but we had to pay for the ENTIRE delivery order. plus, the delivery containers we use for the dinners are those flimsy foil containers with the plastic lids that you put on top of the container and fold the foil over. so alfredo sauce, wine sauces, other very thin sauces leak out the edge of the foil because its not air tight. so whenever we deliever something like that, its almost inevitable for at least a LITTLE bit of sauce to drip out. so i was just wondering. is it normal for restuarants to do this?

For my english class we are reading the play Julius Caesar. and i have a small project to do. i just have to take a box, and fill it with 6-8 items that represent a character. and each item has to be backed up with a line from the play. my character is Lucius. i know hes a young boy thats a messenger.

like i could put an envelope in the box, and that would represent him being a messenger. anybody know any other items for the character Lucius?

Alright, so I'm fairly new to MTG. its only been about 2 or 3 weeks. I first bought the Stampede of Beasts Green/Red M11 intro pack. then i got a Scars of mirrodin fat pack and a White/Black intro pack. i have a nice bit of cards to start out with. me and 2 other friends got into it together. and ive been playing them with a Green/Black deck. and just tonight made a White/Black deck with the Elspeth Tirel i got from my fat pack. i'm wanting to expand my collection. im fairly scarce when it comes to blue and red cards. and i think i'd like to dabble in blue and try it. should i buy boosters and try to expand on what i already have? buy another fat pack? or buy a blue intro deck?

if boosters, should i buy m11 or scars of mirrodin?

i'm brand new to the whole fixie thing. got a ton of friends up in this mess.

heres the things. i never really looked into it, but i thought about it today and decided to come here and ask. but.

sometimes i'll get this sensation, it's happened all throughout the course of my life as far back as i can remember. i remember it happening at school a lot. maybe its like anxiety or something i dont know. but its like a sensation where i just feel like i'm moving REALLLY fast. like i'll be doing like classwork or a test or something. and when i write, i feel like my hand is moving reallllyy fast, and im pretty sure im moving at a normal speed. and if i like turn my head, or do anything, it just feels like im just going reallly fast. i always thought it was kind of strange, and i never really understood it.

alright, im starting a metal/hardcore band with a couple friends in my school. and i play guitar. but i PLAN on doing vocals for this band. and i havent bought a mic yet. but i was wondering if i could run a mic through a marshall guitar amp, and if it would sound good. like, i dont have a PA or the money to buy one. so i was wonderin if a mic would sound good through an amp.

i live in richmond, virginia. and the girl lives in lynchburg, virginia. about 2 hours away. she's the vocalist in a local band around here and most of the dudes in the band live in my area. so she comes to richmond like every weekend. so even though we live kinda far. we still see each other on the weekends most of the time cause she has band practice and stuff. but we still don't get ALOT of time together. we've been talking for about a month. and its been getting pretty serious. were on a pretty personal level right now. we've already discussed dating, and about how we will probably start dating really soon. but the other day, i hear from some friends that she's been talking to some other guy. i asked her about this. and her argument was that im single, i can do what i want. i was a little confused. because i figured at this point in our "almost" relationship. we'd be pretty exclusive. i'd like to just hear some other peoples perspectives on this.

Alright, my friend dated this girl for like 3 months. he let her "borrow" a crew neck sweater while they were dating. it was a trapped under ice(a hardcore band) crew neck. and after they broke up. he really wanted it back, he loved the heck out of that thing. and its pretty rare. this girl wont give it back. she's like obsessed with him. and keeps it as some sort of shrine of remembrance or something. should my friend be able to get it back? or do you believe that its entitled to her? she seems to think that its 100% hers. i'd like to hear your opinions. or what to say to get it back.

So, im 15 and im a freshman. my best friend is 17 and hes a senior, he has a girlfriend thats 16 and a sophomore. So i really like my friend's girlfriends best friend. I told my friend I like her. and his girlfriend told the girl. I'm really not sure if she likes me. I'm going on a double date with her and my friend and his girlfriend to a concert. I haven't really talked to the girl much. and when i call her on the phone i never really know what to talk about. im really shy and so is she. My friend asked her "are you gonna date brandon(me)?" . and she said "sounds like i dont have a choice". i dont know what that would mean? i dont know if shes just bein shy and doesnt wanna give a direct answer or what. id also like some tips on talking on the phone with her =)

ive been trying to lose weight. But ive been steadily in the 235-240 range for a while. ive cut out fast food and soda COMPLETLEY since december. im wondering what exercises would help alot. and the amount of time i should do them each day or each week.

well, im in 8th grade and there's this girl Emily and i've known her since 3rd grade.I really like her and she sits next to me on the school bus every day and we always talk,but she doesn't show any signs that she likes me more than just a friend.I think I love her but i don't know.How should i tell her my feelings or ask her out?
