Poet, Philosopher, Pianist, Programmer, Problem-solver ... That's me, deal with it. I'm an atheist... but I can believe - when it entertains me. The odds are about a billion to one that someone will claim that anything inanimate IS animated... the reason is that the mind is dependent upon social interaction and expects it where it does not occur. People swear at their cars, computers, televisions and toasters (my wife's favorite) because they are anthropomorphizing these inanimate objects (Endowing them with human-like traits). The same thing happened centuries ago when ancient man looked at the sky... and this was the birth of gods. It was also the birth of ghosts, spirits, aliens, apparitions, demons, dragons, and monsters. Does it help to talk to your car when it won't start? People are naturally attracted to shiny, abstract, profound and charismatic... rather than demonstrable, repeatable, and standardized. Silly isn't it?
