I NEEED HELP!!!!

I need to write a short story for Creative Writing, idk what about.

It needs to be like 10+ pages long so the characters develop and there's a story behind it.

What would be some good ideas I can bounce off of? I'm STUCKK AHHH!!!

I've been talking to this guy for three weeks but 5 days before xmas his phone broke so he fb msged me about it saying we can keep talking on there until he gets a new phone. So I replied and now its almost a week no reply.

I worry there's a new girl he's persuing, since it seemed he was only talking to me for those weeks. Should I bother? I don't think so. It just hurts a little. I'll get over it.

I mean they can't date one girl at a time. If they're "committed" they at least text other girls or give other girls attention. They can't be monogamous. I'm 18. Does it ever change? Are their feelings different then girls? After a while I only want one person at a time.

I've been friends w/ this guy at school for a couple years and he started to noticeably like me so I asked to go to the movies and he said sure. I didnt have a ride so he got his mom to drive 20 min to my house to get me and he split a soda w/ me so he treated it like a date. But he invited his friend with us, which usually means he wants to just stay friends and he would talk to his friend equally as much if not more than me. And while we were waiting for a ride he ran into this guy he knew and was ignoring me while chatting w/ him. What's with the mixed signals?! We're 17.
