I have a computer that doesn't have wifi, so I bought a wireless USB adapter so it can connect to my router.

*Both my router and modem are working fine, i have 4 other computers wirelessly connected to them.

I first tried a Netgear N150 USB adapter and it didn't work, at first i though it was the adapters fault so i went and tried another one. So I got the Belkin N150, installed it, same problem.

It finds my connection but when i try to connect to it it says "Limited access" and wont connect.

I have tried turning off the modem, router, and pc and turning them back on in that order, like i was suggested. This didn't help.

The troubleshoot said i didn't have a preferred network, but when I made my network the preferred network the problem wasn't resolved.

I have even tried connecting my computer directly into my router with an ethernet cable, didn't help either.

Btw, my computer runs on Windows 7, in case you need to know.

Someone please help me, I've tried everything i can think of, i probably even forgot to mention some.

I'm willing to spend money if necessary, so i'll take any advice but please keep it simple, im not so great with computers, clearly...Thanx

It's a Gateway FX6840-03e with Windows 7 (64-bit)

As you probably know, now a days you need an internet connection to install games, and this computer doesn't have built in Wifi.

I do have a working router and everything.

Does anyone know the best way to enable a connection on my computer?

Connecting the computer directly to the router with an ethernet cable didn't work.

Also, I don't need something for a fast connection, I don't play online or anything. I just need a connection to simply install the games.

I use my computer exclusively for gaming, so i try to keep it as fast as possible. I know that security softwares take up a lot of memory and slow the computer down considerably. Is it possible to have internet on my computer without the security? Cuz some games HAVE to have an internet connection (stupid games). If i have internet without the security, i know that if i use it my computer will be swarming with viruses, but does that happen if the videogame connects to its server only? In other words, if i don't use the internet normally, but just through the games, is it still possible to get viruses?

I used to have a really nice firm and perky buttox. And im not talking about a fat ghetto booty, im saying i had a really nice perky one that got ALOT of attention. I went on a vacation in Italy where i walked alot and when i came back, i got skinnier thighs but my behind got smaller too, and it so sad.

Guy #1 : I've liked him for 2 and a half years now. He's really nice, smart, talented, and good looking. I pretty much love everything about him. I told him i like him but i still don't understand if he likes me or not... But probably not. On a scale 1 to 10 (1 being the lowest) I like him like a 10.

Guy #2 : He's cute and really nice. He likes me back, so things would be easier, but if i even think of going out with him, guy #1 comes to mind. He's really sweet and all but i don't know if i can go out with him. On a scale 1 to 10 (1 being the lowest) I like him like 5.

So i know i can go out with guy #2 if i want but i don't know if i do want to, because of guy #1. I really like guy #1 but i dont think i have a chance with him, so i don't know if i should keep trying, or give up and settle for guy #2.

Ok, so i love this guy. I've liked him for 2 years and i know love is a strong word but i mean it. I overheard him say he loves a girl and by the way he described her, its obviously not me. That day i told him i like him, and he obviously told me he likes that other girl. He let me down easy because he is a really nice person and would never hurt anyone intentionally and then gave me a hug and said sorry. of course i didn't get over him even if he told me he liked someone else.

It really hurts to see him all the time and to know that i cant have him.
