I am just a patriotic man that enjoys my freedom loves my country wants to help keep my country free.

  • Violence from the police.?

If you were in a large group of people and seen a police officer beating a citizen that was already handcuffed with his "billy club", what would you do.

    (A) Stand around and watch a citizen continue to be beaten.

    (B) Pull out your Phone-camera and record the event.

    (C) Act in a group and stop the police officer from continuing to beat the citizen, by if necessary placing the police officer under arrest.

What kind of citizen are you, and please be honest.

In my opinion, if a citizen is already in handcuffs, and a police officer continues to beat a citizen then the officer has crossed the line and instead of enforcing a law the officer has violated the law and become nothing but an assailant and is in violation of the law itself. At the point that a citizen is handcuffed and can offer no resistance or defend himself, and the officer continues to beat him, the citizen that is handcuffed has been turned into a victim and the officer has turned him/herself into a criminal.

    Comments please!

  • Does anybody know how members of Congress shoose the numbers that go in front of pieces of legislation?

How do Congressmembers be it in the House of Representatives or the Senate choose the numbers that accompany each and every piece of proposed legislation as the title's of the Bills they are proposing? For example Congressman Ron Paul chose 1207 to go in front of the Audit The Federal Reserve Bill. What I was wondering is what is the significance to these numbers H.R. 1207 , S. 510, ect... or are these numbers chosen randomly?

  • Can you name 3 occupations that are the most subject to corruption?

Name 3 jobs or occupations that place too much power or authority in the hands of a single person or a group that would subject them to becoming corrupt more than any other occupations. Can you also suggest ideas that could or would rein in that corruption and correct any wrongs done by the corrupted individuals or groups.

  • Voting on Bills before reading them?

When our alleged representatives in the House of Representatives or the Senate claim that they voted on Bills before they were given the opportunity to read and understand the Bills, why don't they just refuse to vote on the Bills until after they have had the opportunity to actually read the Bills and fully understand what is in the Bills, and the Bills implications. Is there a law that says the alleged representatives in the House of Representatives or the Senate must vote on the Bills reguardless of if they know what is in these Bills. If there is a law, what would happen if they did refuse to vote on them. These Bills have wide ranging reprocussions on the citizens of our nation, and if these alleged Representatives vote on these Bills before reading and understanding them then they have no business being in the House of Representatives or the Senate.

  • Is it really possible to get a fair trial here in the U.S.?

Please allow me to explain my question on this issue. Here in the U.S. if you are accused of a crime you will be arrested by the police, then you go to trial. You have a Judge working for the State, you have the Prosecutor working for the state, and you have the Police also working for the state. How is it possible to actually get a fair trial when all 3 entites (Judge,Prosecutor,Police) are all party to the lawsuit against you. And yes whenever you go to court is is actually considered a lawsuit against you.

  • Why is it that it is against the law to lie to police officers?

Why is it against the law to lie to the police, yet the police routinely lie and are actually taught how to lie to suspects in their training just so they can get a confession. Why is there this double standard allowed? As far as the police are concerned everybody is a lier, and the police believe that everybody must have some kind of evidence to back up their statement. A persons word is just not good enough. What has our society evolved into. In the old days a man's/womans word was everything, today it means nothing.

  • Protection from the Police?

With the police on the rampage of conducting home invasions (violation of 4th Amendment), or of police tazing people at their whim, are there any actual protections from the police and their continous use of unconstitutional power and authority. Do citizens have the right to protect themselves from the police abuses in any way possible?

  • Question for Constitutional Law Students, Professors or anybody knowledgable in Constitutional law.?

Is it within the people's Constitutional Rights for the people of our nation to legally begin Impeachment proceedings against a sitting president, or must all Impeachment Proceedings have to be brought up by our Congress. Can the people of our nation over rule Congress and Impeach a sitting President. Or is there a Recall Amendment in our Constitution that would give the people of this nation the power, and authority, to Recall or Impeach a sitting president.

  • Money returned from AIG bailout bonuses?

If the federal government will be trying to get 90% of the money that the AIG executives received in the form of their bonuses returned, I am assuming in the form of excessive taxes of this money. Then where will this returned money go? Considering this money was borrowed from the Federal Reserve to begin with, will the Federal Reserve loan on this money be dropped, deleted, or just forgiven, up to 90% as well and the taxpayers will be off of the hook to the Federal Reserve also for 90% of this loans interest payments to the Federal Reserve?

  • DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO REMENTHOLATE STALE MENTHOL TOBACCO SO IT TASTES FRESH AGAIN?

I am a cigarette smoker, I enjoy the taste of menthol cigarettes, I am starting to roll my own cigarettes because store bought cigarettes are getting too expensive. When I purchase a large bag of menthol cigarette tobacco, most of it ends up going stale before I can roll it into cigarettes and stale tobacco looses its menthol flavor and tastes nasty. Are there any chemicals I can easily purchase at a grocery or hardware store that I can add to the tobacco to keep it's freshness longer or even rementholate stale tobacco so it stays fresh.

  • Why after 95 years of being on the fiat money standard have we not switched back to the gold standard.?

We have used the fiat money standard(money backed by nothing) for 95 years and within that time have seen the dollar fall in value many times. haven't we as a nation learned from this yet that the fiat system (money not backed by anything )doesn't work.
