He's not the "star" of the film. He usually plays a heavy, an enforcer type character, one of the "bad guys". And he IS heavy, with a thick neck, built like an ox, or a bull. He usually wears a suit. He might be bald, or just have a very short hair cut. He's appeared in movies WITH Mako, but Mako is another person entirely (unless my image of Mako was the wrong one).

I think he's Japanese, but I could be wrong there as well.

Also, I rarely see him actually fight, he seems to win more through intimidation than anything else.

It's hard rock, not the BTO song. That's the only lyric I can remember.

I think "I work and slave sometimes it seems" is another one, but it's hard to make out. The song opens with that lyric. Think AC/DC for the style. Not that I think it's that group necessarily.

Okay, here's a neutral example related to my question.

Let's say I work for a restaurant. And the health department requires us to put all the dishes through a dishwashing machine. The hot water and sanitizing solution sanitizes the dishes. If we don't use it, they could close us down. Now, let's say I come to work, and the machine isn't working. But my boss wants to open for business anyhow. He tells me to just do the best I can on the dishes. No one gets sick, the health department doesn't know about it--yet. But if we were to be found out, we'd be shut down.

Now, if we're shut down, I'm out of work. If my boss finds out that I ratted him out, I could very well be out of work.

Given that situation, would you inform the health department who would shut you down and cost you your job?

That isn't who I work for, but the situation is closely approximate. An outside group could come in and shut us down (and fine us) for not following established procedures. And I wouldn't be able to work until it's cleared.

I was watching a show about John Lennon, and I had thought he was from Liverpool. Is Woolton the name of another town entirely, close to Liverpool--like a suburb? Or just the name of a neighborhood in Liverpool.

Also, I don't quite understand why Britons name their homes? "Mendips"?

Saw a preview for Reign Over Me with Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle. There was a black cast member on SNL who resembles him, but Don Cheadle is not noted as a cast member of SNL....so who is it?
