I just installed Final Cut Pro X and I imported all my clips for my project to my external harddrive that has 1.5 terrabytes of space left and I am working on a macbook pro 15 inch with 4gb RAM. When I am playing back sometimes it gives me "Dropped Frames" and it is the most irritating thing in the world. Since this new version of final cut "doesn't need" a scratch disk to be set up what do I do to prevent frames from dropping on my timeline??

My girlfriend and i went out for a yr. I was her first ever boyfriend, she has never really had a relationship with a guy ever, not even close guy friends. So when i went off to college we broke up but kinda stayed an unexclusive relationship (going out on dates when i came back home, etc..) she used to lie to her parents alot about where she would go and.would get in alot of trouble so she started goin to a psychologist for help and told me she is changing and that although we arent officially a couple that she wants to be a better person for me in the future if the right time comes. 3 days ago, before i came back home for break, she said she needed to tell me something and it was that about a year ago (2months into our relationship- she still was lying to her parents so they didnt know we were going out) my friend behind my back texted her and said he liked her and being a naive stupid person, she was flattered & texted him back (idk about the details and frankly idc) long story short they kissed once & were about to go to eat until he kept telling her to break up w me and thats when she told him to take her back home. I talked tomy friend and he told me that yes they kissed and he tried breakin us up in alot of ways but after she said no they never spoke again. he also told me honestly that he wouldn't have told me hadn't she came up to me about it. She says she's genuinely sorry and that she will take watever consequences come her way but she says she really loves me and that she wants to get back w me eventually and that she'll never do that to me again. I said we will take a break until summer and ill talk to them both at the same time. I think i should just forgive them both and leave the past behind. Bc i've seen her change and the fact she admitted it to me shows some change for the better so i think i could take her back eventually i dont respect my friend but ill give him a chance to prove to me he wants 2 regain our friendship Is this theright thing2do?

I am a Freshman studying Film Production now at Emerson College. I love everything about film with a passion and want to be a professional in the Industry but I've always thought about the Music industry as well. I don't have experience with any instruments but I love music with a passion and I help my sister out with writing songs, since she plays the guitar. Lately I've been thinking of Music Business/Production but I also want to keep studying Film Production.... I don't know how to solve this issue and whether or not it is possible to study all these with a double-major or major/minor or double minor program. Can someone please give me serious advice? What schools offer this and which ones are the best? If they have programs that allow me to study all of this? or any which way I can possibly pursue this.

I am a freshman at Emerson College. I am studying Film Production. I love the school so far but I have always wanted to go to NYU, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Chapman University or USC for Film. I am wondering on what the options are for transferring (when is the best time to transfer, after two years? one year? next semester? etc..). Also if I transfer Is it a negative thing if I am not taking a math class? If I can get a serious answer from someone who knows what they're talking about I would appreciate it.

I am a high school student and I am planning on attending Emerson College. I have already turned in the first enrollment deposit and I submitted my rooming application. My mom is telling me I'm not ready for college and wants to know if I can defer for one year to stay home and then after go to Emerson. Is this a possible option?

What exactly are the specifications towards being rescinded of an acceptance into college?

-I'm a high school student and I am going to attend Emerson College

-Currently I have a Cumulative GPA of approximately 3.15

-What grades do colleges look at and what is the limit as to how low a grade can drop before getting rescinded?

-I have to take 4 final exams and I have taken two already

-On my Math final I received a 58% but I ended the class with a B

-On my Philosophy final I received a 72% and ended the class with a B as well

-I have a Psychology Test and L.A. History coming up I Have a low B in Psych and C+ in History

-I AM FREAKING OUT ABOUT THIS

I need to a research paper for English class and I wanted to write about issues dealing with the film industry. What are some conflicts now in the industry that I could find enough information for 15 pages.

I am a 17 yr old high school senior and I am applying to film programs at several colleges. I want a camera that is mobile and has great picture quality and sound quality, as opposed to the cameras I use at my school that are huge (panasonic dvx 100b, even though they have decent sound quality). I looked up these two canon models and I don't really see much of a difference can someone please explain to me which choice is better.

P.S.

I would like a camera that has the capability of shooting smooth slow-motion with not too much difficulty.

I need to change my frame rate from 24p to 60i on the Panasonic DVX 100B, Someone please help I need to shoot a music video today and have slow motion shots and I need to change the frame rate in order to do so!

I am a senior in high school and i'm beginning my college application process. I intend on completing a double major in Film & Business. I have a problem with a specific branch of business I should study. I want to be a film producer and write screenplays. But I also want to major in business to learn how the film industry works AND because I also want to help run my father's International casino gaming business. What SPECIFIC branch of business fits my intentions?

A month ago, a girl I haven't seen since 5h grade added me on facebook. We used to be "boyfriend & girlfriend" (but obviously that doesn't count). We talk a couple days a week on fb chat just to catch up and I just got her number two days ago. She has gotten reallllyy pretty since 5th grade and I wanna hang out with her, get to know her. I wanna ask her to hang out but If i do where would be a good place to catch up and hang out, and if it should be with a group or just us two. I know i'm overthinking (I usually do this lol).

Today, i was backing up my car and I accidentally bumped my classmates car. I drive an H3 and he drives a BMW 325. My tire made a small dent on the hood of the car right next to the BMW sign. The tire mark is visible and theres a minor and small dent. I am not going to be a gentleman and give him money for the repairs, but I want to know how much this type of dent would cost to repair. I want to know what repair method would be needed and how much should I pay my classmate back.

I have been working out, and I have noticed I have gained muscle, but I still have body fat in my stomach and arms, what all body workouts can help me lose body fat quickly so I can get ripped and have my abs defined. I want to get a workout that targets almost every part of my body that i can do everyday.

PS: I am aiming for a six pack, i am 16 and athletic i can handle most workouts, I just want to have low body fat so that my body can be fully defined.
