I have a Question for all horse people. I am a new rider and i was wondering if you guys ride alone?

I don't like to ride alone because i am just learning how to ride and i don't think it's very safe since i am new @ this. Some people say just get on and go if you fall you fall. What do you guys think?

I just got a 16 yr old mare Quarter horse. She was rescued last year by a friend and i have her now. She is very sweet and gets along with my Arab and my alpacas.My question is: When i take her out she gets real spooky even when it's windy out.She is afraid of Everything! I have been working with her to put the halter on her and a lead rope. We got threw that problem.Now i have to work on the rest.What kind of ground work and training can i do with her. So she isn't so spooky. Thanks for the help!

I have two horses and i use straw for their bedding. Most of the time they like to eat it. Does any one have any suggestions on how to stop them from not eating it?What do you guys like using for bedding Straw or hay?

I have a 5 yr old Quarter Morgan horse and he bites on my 16 yr old Arabian horse.My Arab is a calm horse and doesn't bother any one.The Quarter horse has a lot of energy and runs around a lot he is very dominate. I can't put him in with the Alpacas either.How can i stop him from biting the other horse and the Alpacas?

I have a 16 yr old Arabian gelding... When i go to bridal him he throws his head up and down. It takes me at least an hr to put it in his mouth. Once i have it in he is fine.I go out a few times a day and work with him on this. What else can i do to make this easier on him and me. Any tips Thank you!

I have a 4-5 Morgan quarter horse i rescued last November he has had no training at all. I have been working with him the past few months. I sent him to my trainers house for almost 2 months and i just got him back yesterday. He has been doing OK with the training and the ground work. He seems to forget of what he is suppose to do. Sometimes when she does his feet he will try to bite her or me. I lunge him and does good on one side and not the other. He is very stubborn and has a attitude. He just doesn't seem to get it the ground work. I don't want to get rid of him since he was being neglected from his previous owners. What should i do?

My horse has been bitten on his you know what.... I have sprayed him with fly spray down there and all over... He was bleeding down there.I put some bag balm on it... What else can i use to clear that up and to stop the fly's??

I noticed that my horse has a sore on his face from his halter. When he rolls around he rubs his face on the ground. Someone said to use bag balm on it. Can you use bag balm on horses? I just want a second opinion.

My horse just got gelded yesterday. I have been trying to get him to walk and or trot but he does not want nothing to do with it.I have to pull on him just to get him to walk.I don't want him to swell up.What other things can i do to get him to move?
