  • Charger for ipod touch 4th gen?

I just bought an iPod touch 4th generation from Amazon and need a usb cable to connect it to a computer and to charge it. I have cables for an iPod nano 5th gen that do not work on the touch, but the docking station on my iHome works on both models. Nothing is wrong with the cords; they still work on the nano. Do I need a different type of usb for the touch, or is something wrong with it?

  • Tumblr blog question?

If I have two Tumblr blogs under the same email, will people know they are written by the same person, or are the blogs totally independent of each other?

  • When to tell him you're waiting for marriage?

Guys: if you wanted to date a girl and she was waiting until marriage to have sex, when would you want her to tell you? Obviously in the heat of the moment would be a bad time, but would you want to know right off the bat (like first date or even sooner) or after you've gotten to know each other a little better?

  • Did he just tell me to move with him?

We both have feelings for each other, but I havent seen him in three years. We talk a lot, and we live in the same town for now. Today he told me he s moving two and a half hours away to another city. I told him I just got a job in our hometown and that I m looking forward to trying to turn things around for myself here and that maybe it wont be so terrible here if i do it right. And then he says "Move to (city he s going to)". I thought he was joking, so I laughed, but he started making a case for that city, saying things like "Why not? You could get a job there." So I was like "lol wow you re not kidding are you" and he said no. What in the world? Is he just saying he really likes it there and thinks it s a good place or did he just suggest me moving with him?? I don t want to read too much into it. Someone please translate this for me.

  • Should I give him space or keep trying?

I've liked this guy since we were thirteen, and he has feelings for me too. The problem is, he's afraid to be with me because he's been hurt a lot. He's told me things about himself that he hasn't told anyone else and I took it well and was very supportive and everything seemed fine, but now he won't talk to me. He's done this a couple times, usually after he starts to feel too close to me or like he doesn't deserve someone like me. He's used to dating girls who don't care about him... The last girl he was with cheated, and the one before that left him because he was "too emotional". I can usually get him to talk to me again after a while, but I'm not sure if I should just give him his space this time instead and wait for him to come to me. What should I do?

  • How to earn the trust of a guy who has been hurt so many times?

I've had feelings for this guy for six years, and I know he likes me too because he's told me, asked me out, etc. He will have deep meaningful conversations with me about things he doesn't tell anyone else, but he's afraid of being with me because I bring out the honesty in him by being so "real" (his words). He's used to dating girls who don't really care about him, and he's scared of opening up to anyone. Recently he told me some really personal fears that he hasn't told anyone else, and the conversation went really well, but now he won't talk to me because it makes him uncomfortable that I know him this well. Right now I'm just trying to give him space, but how can I show him that he's safe with me?

  • Relaxation/sleep music recommendations?

I'm looking for something to help me to relax and/or fall asleep. I've noticed that I like music with a bit of a celtic sound, and I'd like to find some with water sounds such as rain and waves. I also like the work of John Powell and other composers who score for films, such as Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore.

I'm looking for slow tempos, and I don't mind at all if the music sounds "sad". Some of my favorites are "Stoick's Ship" by John Powell, "Oogway Ascends" by Hans Zimmer, and "Just the Way You Are" by the Piano Guys.

If you guys can think of anything to recommend, that would be great!

  • What kinds of jobs could I do with this skill?

I can draw and paint cartoon figures. Obviously that skill translates to being a cartoonist, but I'd like to explore other options too. I painted a friend's nursery once and she loved it. I could also look into animation or illustration. Is there anything else I could do with this talent?

  • Is he trying to imply something here?

This guy is driving me crazy. He goes in and out of relationships, and one day he will be complaining about women and then the next day he will lament about not being able to find a "good girl". (Which is ridiculous, because I am definitely stereotyped as a "good girl", but when I've asked him why guys date shallow girls instead of good ones, he said they all screw him over the same way.)

Today I posted something on Facebook saying I'm about ready to go back to thinking boys just have cooties, and he commented saying that he doesn't have them because he gets a "cooties shot" every year. Every time I say something about giving up on guys, he will say something like this. Why is he doing this? I'm tired of trying to read between the lines. He won't ask me out, but he constantly pokes at me with comments like this about how dateable he is.

  • What does it mean to dream of a large tree surrounded by a circular fence?

I had this dream that I was with this guy that I like and we were in this huge circular fence on ground that had a big and tall tree in the middle of it. We were having a water fight with hoses and laughing, and the ground was getting muddy because there wasn't much grass to absorb the water.

I'm not asking you guys to tell me this means that this guy and I will get married or anything ridiculous like that, but I'm curious about what the place we were in might signify. I'm not interested in his part of the dream so much as what kind of mental state the tree and the fence might allude to and why everything was so tall compared to me. I somehow got in there voluntarily, so it's not like the place made me feel trapped, but the fence and tree were so tall that I couldn't see anything outside of the fence.

  • What do you think the most important thing in life is?

When you're young and just starting out on your own, it's sometimes hard to figure out what your life should look like and what you should be focusing on. Is it building relationships? Setting a good financial foundation? Finding something in life that you're passionate for, like a career? I know all of these things are good, but which do you think is most important?

  • Why did he start acting differently?

The guy I secretly like used to flirt with me all the time in class. He'd tickle me, poke me, and do anything to make me laugh.

When high school came, we went to different schools for a while at first but ended up going to the same high school later. We sat next to each other in Biology, but he acted way different. He would talk to everyone around us but be almost completely silent with me. We were lab partners and hardly spoke. He wasn't rude; he just seemed...well, quiet. And he's normally a very loud and talkative person.

I have two theories: one, he was intimidated by the fact that I wasn't an awkward-looking 8th grader anymore (sounds conceited, I know, but go with me here) or two, that he has changed a lot and thinks things can't be the same between us. He knows I'm a good girl, and he's always been kind of the "dangerous" guy, but now he has this cocky ego that I know is completely fake and that he's really a softie at heart. Maybe he was afraid I'd see through his self-protective act, so he didn't talk to me? He's been cheated on since middle school, and he's afraid of getting hurt.

We talk on Facebook every once in a while, so it's not like he hates me or anything. Ideas?

  • Dream with lots of symbolic things?

I dreamed I was running down this stone road with brick buildings on both sides. It was raining, which was refreshing, but I was looking for someplace dry and entered the house at the end of the road. It was empty, and I went into the back room and took off my shoes, which were filled with water. Two sisters greeted me and showed me around, but the older one seemed moody/ unhappy with me being there, so I left.

It had stopped raining when I went outside. i stepped into a store that I want to say was like a small mom and pop hardware store. I remember seeing wind chimes for sale, and I was at the register looking through one of those spinning racks that normally have post cards on them, but this one had books. I left without buying anything.

I stepped outside and met a boy who was telling me about the book he was reading. The plot was about everything in the world turning into blueberries. We noticed that a crowd had gathered around a tan shaggy dog that was surrounded by a circular chicken wire fence. It growled at everyone who approached except for me. It only growled a little bit at the boy.

We went to the boy's house and I met his mother, who was going through pictures of girls he had dated and saying "No, no, no..." until she got to a picture of me. In the picture, I had red hair and green eyes and had just gotten off of a steam engine train. The boy and I ended up getting married.

What do the symbols in this dream mean? How could it all tie together?

  • Involuntary shoulder movements?

I've had trouble with my shoulders ever since I was in a car accident ten years ago. My shoulders and neck hurt and give me headaches frequently. If someone gives me a shoulder massage or if I put ice on the shoulder that is bothering me, I will experience random and dramatic involuntary muscle movements (not twitching... it's more like shrugging and shoulder rolls). This has been happening for several weeks. What could be the cause of this?? I just had my first chiropractic adjustment a few months ago, if that makes any difference.

  • Previous addresses? Would it be considered lying?

I'm applying for a job online and they want me to list all of my previous addresses in the last ten years. Problem is, I was only eight ten years ago and don't remember these addresses. Could it get me in trouble to say that I don't have any previous addresses, since my name was never the one on the leases anyway? Or should I somehow find a way to find this information?

  • How to flirt in a short period of time?

There's this guy that I went to school with years ago that I haven't seen in a long time, but he's now a cashier at a store that I grocery shop at. Neither of us are geniuses when it comes to small talk (both the "quiet" type) so I've been trying to let him know that I like him through body language (eye contact, smiling, etc). The problem is, I don't think he's picking up on that because I'm having a hard time getting past my tendency to be professional with people who are at their job. How can I flirt with this guy when we have less than five minutes from the start of the interaction to the end?

  • Was he shy/embarassed or was it something else?

I recently saw someone that I haven't seen in about five years. I was out running errands and he was working in one of the stores I went to. We recognized each other and started making small talk about how our lives have been and where we ended up going to high school and all that. I thought it was a completely normal conversation, but for some reason he was blushing. I'm not sure if it's because he was feeling a bit shy or if he thought I was cute (the last time we saw each other I was in 8th grade and looked way different) or if it's because he used to like me or something. What's up with that? We weren't talking about anything embarassing, and I've been curious ever since.
