My Vista PC has a power management mode that I specifically turned off because I am often away from my computer and DON'T want it to go to sleep or turn off. However, no matter how many times I say "accept settings" and stuff like that, my computer still decides to hibernate after a few hours. But the annoying part is that when I look at my power settings, everything, even advanced settings, are just as I want them. The same thing happens with my dad's XP - he picks the settings and the computer ignores him. We've tried it with administrative privileges, advanced settings... Note: I don't want answers saying "Windows sucks - get Mac" or stuff like that please.
