  • Midnight premiere of Harry Potter 7 Part 2?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if movie theaters will possibly show BOTH parts of the Deathly Hallows on July 15 for the midnight premiere. What I mean by this is that you go in at maybe 10 PM or so and watch the first part, then you get to stay in that same theater and they will show the second part at midnight. I know that they did this for Twilight/New Moon, where people could watch them both for the midnight premiere of New Moon. So, since Harry Potter is a much bigger phenomenon, does anyone know if movie theaters might possibly do that? I tried asking but I think it's still too early. Thanks for any answers! :)

  • Math HELP please!!! Regression...?

This is for "population trends in China".

    x: 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995

    y (in millions): 554.8, 609.0, 657.5, 729.2, 830.7, 927.8, 998.9, 1070.0, 1155.3, 1220.5

Okay, so here's what I need help with...I know how to develop functions on the calculator to fit with the graph of the data. But the problem is that they don't match all the points. The best I've found is a quartic function that matches 6 of the 10 points, which the function is (sorry it's a little long):

    y = (1.4233100232689x10^-4)(x^4) - (1.1286670328347)(x^3) + (3356.1989381324)(x^2) - (4435367.7515753)(x) + (2197982066.7849)

My directions are to "analytically develop one model function that fits the data points on your graph". How do I adjust my function to move the line to match the data points??? Do I actually have to go through and individually change one number in the equation at a time to try and get the stupid line to fit the data points? Or is there an easier way? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help, I'm desperate and I have been trying to figure this out for the past three hours :(

Thank you in advance for any help!

  • Please help me with my history final essay!?

Tomorrow is my history final, and it's a ginormous one on the French and Indian War, as well as the Revolution and Parliament's tyranny. Anyway, our teacher gave us 3 essay topics, and I'm pretty sure that this is the one I'm going to get. If you could please help me, I need three pieces of evidence that will help me answer this question in an essay, because this is the one topic that I'm not too good with. Thanks in advance!

Essay #1: In 1763, a French statesman predicted that England would rue the day she expelled France from North America. Did events prove the Frenchman correct? How are the French and Indian War and its outcome related to the coming of the American Revolution?

    Thank you so much!

  • About the Twilight movie?

Is it true that they're going to be looking for a new actress to play Bella in New Moon? Because I heard some of my friends talking about it, and I'm really worried. If they change the actress (which I don't think they need to, she did amazing), that will totally ruin the movies. I mean, how would it look to have one movie with one Bella and another movie with a different Bella? Pretty bad.

  • Hi there! Anyone want to help me with some French?

If any of you were paying attention to the language section earlier, you probably noticed my bombardment of frantic questions. I was rather disappointed by the lack of answers in a time of desperation, but hopefully you will be glad to know that I deleted those questions and am out of my panicky mood. So, in a very calm tone, I'm going to ask the same questions without that undertone of complete misery. Please bear with me.

Can someone please explain to me how to use passe compose and object pronouns?

And how do you ask "what is her name" and "what is she like".

Any and all intelligent answers are appreciated, especially if they are coming from a francophone.

    Merci.

  • Please help me with this question!!!?

Can someone explain to me, simply, how to cryopreserve cattle? We're doing a project in my science class where we need to pretend like we're building a colony on Mars. One of my assignments was to find out how we could take livestock without having to actually take and feed a bunch of cows. So, if you can help me, please list a source so I can go and find the information. Thanks so much!
