  • My Fugifilm digital camera (A850) is stuck!?

I have had this camera since last Christmas and it has worked wonderfully, but now something's wrong with it. I cleared some photos off and then all of a sudden my camera got stuck. I can turn it on and take a photo but when I go to view it, it gets stuck. I can't turn the camera off, I can't delete it-nothing! The only way to get it to turn off is to open the battery door and then it does the same thing over again. When I take out the blue card it works but I need the card to store photos. Anyone have the same problem? Any techies out there that can help me out? Is there a better place than Yahoo answers to ask this question? I don't usually get these type of questions answered here, but wanted to give it a try. Thanks.

  • Any place to watch the show Christy online?

Anyone know of any place to watch the show Christy with Kellie Martin online? I have tried Surfthechannel, Fancast, Hulu, and Youtube (I can only find clips here) and just about everywhere I can think of and no one has it. Is it even on cable anywhere? If anyone knows of a channel it's that would help too. Thanks all.

  • Does a bobcat scream like a woman?

I was always told the a bobcat screams like a woman. Is this true? Does anyone know of any links to hear a bobcat. I know that bobcats and cougars/mountain lions are different types of cats. I am specifically interested in the sounds made by a bobcat.

  • Robert Frost poem-The Cabin in the Clearing?

Where can I find the words (besides the library--I need it soon) to Robert Frost's poem A Cabin in the Clearing. I have found numerous websites with the poetry of Frost, but I can't find that poem. I want to reference it in a writing project I'm doing, but I need to read the words to make sure it fits the tone of my piece. Thanks all.

  • Growing season in the Adirondack mountains NY?

Hey anyone know when things grow in the area in and around Lake Placid NY? I need garden flowers, bushes, and berries. I read that you shouldn't plant until the first full moon in June, so that leaves me to wonder when the summer gardens are in full bloom. I would love to find some sort of chart that lists everything and it's growing season. I found ones for neighboring states, but none for this region of New York. Thank you so much.

  • Where can I watch old movies online?

I know a ton of movie sites, but I can't seem to find a place to watch a few of my old favorites online for free. Does anyone know of a link where I can watch "Invasion of the body snatchers"? The 1950's version. Also anyone know of a place to watch "The Clan of the Cave Bear" with Daryl Hannah? One other one I am looking for is "The Night they saved Christmas" with Art Carney and Jaclyn Smith. Thanks for the help.

  • Calling all book worms from '88!!?

What were popular works of Juvenile fiction in 1988? I need to know what would have been in the bookstores in 1988 that would have interested a ten year old girl. A bright ten year old girl that has read "James and the Giant Peach", "Nancy Drew", and "Little House on the Prairie". It doesn't have to have been published in '88 just popular than. Anyone from that ERA that remembers what they were longing to read? If you know of children's fiction from that time too, that would be helpful since this character I am creating has a younger sister. Thanks for the help.

  • Were there bookstores/coffee places in 1988?

I need to know for something I am writing. Did bookstores that sold books as well as have a little coffee shop exist in 1988? I need to know if they would have been in New England (ie Vermont). Even if they weren't popular were they around? I know they wouldn't have served Lattes, but regular coffee. Or did the bookstores with the coffee come about after the latte was a hot item?

  • Attack sites posted on Answers?

I have seen several times where people will give an answer as a link and say, "Here is what you are looking for. Hope this short video helps." Then I click on it and it's a reported attack site. I just wanted to warn everyone about it. Thankfully I have lots of protection on my computer, but if you don't, don't click on any link unless you recognize it especially if the person calls it a "Short video".

  • When was the original (1971) Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory released on VHS? ?

I need to know if it was out and available to rent on or before 1988. I vaguely remember watching it in school on the big screen we had during a snowy cold day. Thanks for the help. (It's for a writing project).

  • How do I get rid of earwigs?

I have greenhouse on my porch. I am growing lots of flowers and working on tomato plants. The trouble is that these yucky little earwigs keep coming in and eating all of my flowers. I think they started coming in when my porch started leaking (the roofers are working on fixing it right now). I know they like water so I don't leave any standing water around. I also spray bug spray along my door way trying to keep them out. They also have started coming inside and like to find places to hide like my dish strainer. It is really driving me crazy and I don't have any other bugs coming in. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
