  • Time between stages of liver disease?

I have a 15yr siberian who basically stopped eating about 3 days ago. He was drinking and his gums were pink. After taking to the vet, the conditions are getting worse. His gums have turned palish and now I'm wondering how long I should wait? I don't believe he is in alot of pain, but I can see he is deteriorating on me. Is there a time period in which I should wait to see if he can get through this? Any help would be appreciated thank you.

  • What is this scalp condition?

It almost looks like a dark red or brownish sand at the base of the hair. It's doesn't appear as though it itches, but does look like it is thinning in the areas where there is a higher concentration of the stuff. After a shower it is usually gone, but in the morning or after a day it comes back. I've looked at other websites, but could not find a image of the reddish brownish sand or dandruff like substance.

  • Will President Obama's policies cause the line between whites, blacks, and browns to deepen?

The President’s apparent lack of appreciation, or even empathy, for the plight of investors losing their retirement savings may be matched by their disenchantment with his policy initiatives. Too many what appears to be helping the country, instead favors the two minority groups growing here in the United states. If one where to look at the demographics of the foreclosures, job loses, stimulus plan expenditures it would be clear - night and day. And as for the baby boomers, war vets, and others who basically built America they lose there retirement funding, there taxes, and get a "in the long-term we will be better off."
