i have 2 apbt's,the male is 14 months and the female i jus got is 6 months old..they both get along fine but my male has a nasty habit of eating the females poop..i dont want to seperate them but how do i stop the male from eating feces and will this habit make my dog sick?

I work at safeway night crew and I take my lunch behind the store to have a smoke and we get free ready made food that wasn't sold during the day and last night I got a roastbeef that was still warm and went behind the store to have a smoke and noticed a hungry dog trying to get inaide the dumpster..its so skinny I could see the rib cage and it looks like a pitbull but was very friendly and started waging its tail..so I ended up giving her the whole plate of roastbeef I had and she literally ate the whole thing in less than 30 seconds including the paper plate..I instantly got attached to this dog and when I got off work hours later she seemed to be waiting for me outside so I brought her home with me..she looks emiciated but has lots of energy and she's very playful..no collar on her so I really want to keep her..cuz I jus moved into a house with a nice big yard for her to runaround in..iv never owned a dog and did not plan on it but this dog I want to keep..what steps should I take to get her and if she does have a owner they don't deserve her cuz she looks like a neglected dog..I gave her a bath today and took off all the street grime off her coat..she's a black with brown tiger stripes with a white strip going down her forhead neck and chest..also she got white toes and the tip of her tail white..I really wanna keep her and need some advice..appreciate any answers
