I'm a reservist currently going through schooling, my active duty training time not including bootcamp is approximately 8 months. Would I qualify for the post 911 since I have 90 or more days? I know the time I'm at bootcamp doesn't count.

Also if I do eventually qualify for partial after being mobilized or deployed would I recieve partial BAH at the same rate of the tuition assistance?

I heard something about reserves on active duty orders receiving BAH. I have a place back home. I pay rent and I heard that you can receive BAH for it. I have no dependents and live in the barracks, do I still qualify for it?

When and where can I take the Defense Language Proficiency Test? Where do I submit my request? What form am I supposed to submit to my command?

Do the reserves still offer the Non-Prior Service bonus? Or did they take that all away?

I was in the middle of cutting weight, I usually walk around at around 199lbs when I wake up in the morning.

Today I was weighing 198.7 in the morning and I walk around at around 200AftI urinated a lot with very little hydration (water) and was in a sauna for about 15 minutes. I felt fine in the sauna but when I just got out of the shower I passed out.

I was probably out for a few minutes or so and I proceeded to drink a glass of water and right after the glass I passed out again. After waking up and barely having vision I drank two more glasses and had some sodium enriched foods.

I weighed my self after the three cups of water (presumably 750ml) I weighed 196.7.

Ive cut down to 194 from 200 before and felt fine. But his time i passed out. What is wrong with me?

Someone very close in my family has cancer, she has a 7cm tumor in her liver.

She started out with breast cancer, then it spread to her lungs, and now her liver.

I am just learning the details, but with the information I provided above, how much longer does she have?

I made a big mistake when I enlisted as a RESERVE. Now that I think about it I should have gone for Active, I choose to be a reserve because I wanted to go to school.

I will be shipping out on Dec. 9 and I have a written contract for FMSS after A School.

What are my chances of getting deployed? I want to be on the field overseas with the Marines in combat. And if I have the opportunity I want become a Recon Corpsman as well.

How often can I get deployed? Can I request to go Active Duty? Recon Corpsman?

And another question, is it possible to go to other C schools after FMSS in my Navy career?

The problem is that I'm a reservist and I want to become full time. I want to be deployed and possibly see combat. At which point can I switch to active duty if it is possible at all? After bootcamp? After "A" School? After FMSS?

I don't want to my whole military experience to be some weekend warrior B.S.
