There is a homework question I need some helpful direction with.

Given X~N(0, sigma = 1), Y~N(2, sigma = 2), and Z~N(4, sigma = 3), what is the distribution of W = X + Y + Z?

A 4.00 kg block starts from rest at the top of a 30° incline and slides a distance of 2.10 m down the incline in 1.50 s.

1.) What is the magnitude of acceleration on the block?

2.) What is the coefficient of kinetic friction on the block and plane?

Have you ever been put in a situation in which their was a severe contradiction of your personal belief and the law? To the point where citing the individual was hard?

Under what circumstances may force be used in self-defense against an individual if you are subject to threatening/physical prodding etc...at what point can you subdue the criminal and wait for the authorities to arrive?

My friend's car stalled at a stoplight momentary, which enraged the person behind him...the person then tailgated him, drove recklessly, and acted like he was going to run him off the road (while shouting profanity) The man followed my friend to his work, blasted out of the car and started shouting and cursing at him..He then yanked open my friends door...ENTERED his car and continued... at the end of it all after he pushed my friend around a bit... keyed his car (the entire length of the car) in front of him..and rocketed out of the parking lot..

My friend didn't want to get in trouble with the police, so he did nothing...Let the man do what he wanted to do...

It stopped working a couple weeks ago. At first it was just cutting in and out randomly, now it has completely stopped working. When the sound was cutting in, the subwoofer sounded fine. There is power going to the sub currently, but no sound. I have replaced the rca cables, replaced the deck, checked all fuses, pinches in wire, opened up the sub box and checked for loose wire. Nothing, I have no idea

I have a 220w rms Alpine amp and a 200w rms mtx sub.

The other week, out of the blue, my amplifier stopped receiving an audio signal from my head-unit. The amplifier power led indicator light is on, I pulled up the carpet and checked for pinches in the wire (couldnt find any) and i removed my head to see if it was connected properly and it was. I can't figure out whats wrong with it.

The weird thing is, sometimes when I slam my car door real hard the subwoofer starts working again, but then it cuts back off in 3 minutes or so.

I asked this question a couple weeks ago, still having problems. If I can't get a self-fix answer i suppose I will have to get it checked out

My Netbeans on my laptop does not recognize javax.swing.GroupLayout;

However, another desktop I use to work on my applications with Netbeans does (Both 6.0 by the way)? It's declared in part of an uneditable IDE generated code which is frustrating so there is nothing I can do about it unless I figure out what's wrong. Compatibility?

I own a single 10" Mtx road thunder subwoofer. I believe it is 200W Rms with 400 or 600W peak. I haven't hooked it up yet so I don't know how it performs. Anyone have one or want to share their similar experiences?

This means I need 200w of power on a single channel to my sub right? What is the max power I could put into this sub you think without reaching a dangerous level of possibly blowing the sub?

Me and my girlfriend have been going out for two years. We started out as friends, then we started going out and eventually getting intimate. About a year into our relationship, I found myself in an infatuation with another girl and we soon started began getting to close for comfort and my girlfriend told me to stop hanging around her like a protective good girlfriend should do...I went out with this girl I told my girlfriend of a year at the time I needed and break, I didn't deserve her back in the end but she took me back and we moved on, it was the worst most stupid mistake of my life. She said she would never do anything like that to me and I believed her.

a year later, both of us our seniors..planning to possibly move in together and go to college. She had been liking this other guy, my opinion may be biest (a complete insect of society, chews tobacco at 16, gets drunk...redneck) I told her to keep away from him. Same things happening again. she wants a break.what to do?
