  • Disability Decision After Hearing ?

I am really trying to find out what time some people have waited for a decision after the hearing.

I went to court 6 months ago and still no decision yet, called the SSA and they say it is still pending, my lawyer says we just have to wait.

  • Why an appointment with Social Security Dr. 2 Weeks after hearing with Judge?

Went to a disability hearing 2 weeks ago and just got a letter with an appointment with a Social Security Dr. I thought the hearing was the last step to a decision Why send me to another Dr. now i have already been to 1 of there Dr. several months before the hearing.

Is it possible that the judge is thinking approval but needs more recent medical evidence, I would think if he was gonna deny it would just be denial right away without another appointment.

    ANY help appreciated

  • how long to get ssdi check after approval?

If approved on the initial application with no appeals how long after you get the approval letter should you get a benefit check and also how long for backpay ?

I know most do not get approved without appeals but just asking about approval on first application only.

  • ssdi social security disability?

Let me start by saying i am almost 40 and have worked since 16. I have gone threw the disability application process and filed all the paperwork including work history, i was sent to a ss doctor for an exam by the disability determinations office, a few weeks after the exam i was told by disability determinations that a decision was made but my file was returned to ss office and they could not tell me the decision as they do not make the final decisions.

i then get a letter in the mail from ss asking about my work history on jobs they had found that i worked for the first year i had claimed i was disabled wanting to know what i done on those jobs and what they done to accomadate my disability, well it was then that i realized i put the wrong year on my application as my disability start date, i explained this to ss and went ahead and filed the report saying i was not disabled during that time frame and that i had posted wrong year. I am now waiting on a final decision. Do you think i was approved on the medical portion and now they are procesing the non-medical to determine my benefits ?? Thanks

    Additional Details

Since the disability determinations said they had made a decision and it has been returned to ss office for final decision i figured i would be getting a denial in the mail.

I guess a better way to say it is, i figured if i did not pass the medical portion then they would need no more information about work because it would be automatic denial but they are asking more information about a 1 year period of work so maybe i was approved on the medical portion of the claim and now they need to process the non medical. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

  • My dog is like 8 days from due date but today she is breathing really heavy , any suggestions?

She is first time mom and we are first time puppy parents.

She is a small dog, about 10 pounds before pregnancy.

I expect a few negative remarks from people but that's ok as i understand there are people out there that get entertainment from making rude comments on other peoples questions.
