I am trying to research which one of these stocks should I buy. With the smart phone market increasing , there is lot of potential for the wireless network to be improved. Looks like AMT and CCI are the major wireless tower manufacturers. Both seem to have lot of potential but I am not sure which one of these has lot of growth potential.In comparing the balance sheet between the companies, the net income for CCI is in negative. Is this something that I should be really concerned and because of this should I just go and buy AMT ?

I am contributing to 401k and maxing it out as part of my employer's retirement plan. The money in the 401k is getting invested in Mutual funds. I also plan to open a Roth IRA and would like to put $5000 (max amount). I have 30 more years to retire. At this point, is it advisable for me to invest the amount in the Roth IRA in mutual funds or in stocks ?
