So my Monthly Careplan for my laptop offers a pro rata refund if i cancel.

What exactly does that mean.

I have a degenerative condition Keratoconus.

Which means I struggle with reading even with contacts, I'm not legally allowed to drive, They took away my license. And I struggle crossing the street as I cant see oncoming cars very well, I normally try to use traffic lights.

I've been looking for work, However I've had multiple Interviews and Work trials where they told me I didn't get the job because of my eye sight, because they saw me squinting and struggling to read / working slowly because of it.

I've not looked into it before because I want to work, it just seems im not fully able without some assistance or help finding a special job for myself. And I don't want to claim if it means I cant ever work again.

So we've seen alot of taxi strikes and violence over Uber etc.

But do you think they will work.

Because personally all its done is make me like taxi's less and more likely to use Uber.

Especially with whats happening in France why would you want to take a taxi from people who have been shown to be violent.

Do you think that the best way to create a andriod, would be to simply grow human clones / embrios and then implant them with a artifical / computers mind.

Why bother trying to make a andriod look organic if you could just make an organic andriod.

Okay so in January I registered to vote in the UK online on the gov website.

I recieved an email saying that my completed application was recieved.

I have heard nothing since then. I was expecting to recieve another email or letter to say that it had been processed and I was now able to vote.

Also I applied for a postal vote, When should I recieve this.

Thought it was about time I Voted as I realised things I had been taking for granted could easily change if I didnt vote.

So im really keen to get my change to vote. Not just for what I want for myself, But for what I think will make our nation better as a whole for all of us.

While many immigrants can and do speak good english. Many either cannot or only speak it very limited.

This can cause various issues such as working with people who do not understand you etc.

To fix this issue should we (UK) provide English lessons to people to help them become more intergrated in society.

Whether through goverment funding or simply charitys that provide English lessons in their centres.

Or do you feel this should be something they do themselves and pay for themselves ?

Or do you believe that they dont need to learn the local language.

Just curious on your thoughts. You hear so often from USA, Russia and UK that they basically won the war on their own.

They conquered almost all of mainland europe. Tons of western russia. as well as land elsewhere.

Personally I think any country alone would have lost badly against the Axis. Only reason we won was because we had allies to stand with us. Even then we still lost alot of ground before we started to win again.

So my ISA's interest rate has dropped to 0.5% now. Current account gets no interest at all.

Becoming increasingly discouraging for people to save money. Can see this leading to another econimic crash. Because why would people save money only to lose money each year on their savings against inflation.

to go from 7-9% interest 7years ago to 0.5% now thats just a massive shift.

Never really understood it because its not anything sexual. Just seemed to be a feeling I got when someone in charge was being pleasent or nice and feels really wierd.

So the price of a Big Mac in the USA is high. Its Much cheaper in the UK.

However thats the opposite of everything else. Most food in USA Supermarkets is much cheaper than in england.

So the big mac index is not working here is it ? Shouldnt the big mac be cheaper in the USA than the UK. As everything else is. Which is what i saw when i lived in the USA

Countys such as China, India Etc while massive have huge populations. Do you think they are reaching their population limits ?

Many other countrys still have much room and space to grow. However i cannot see countrys such as india and china continuing to grow at the rates they have done.

With a possible in / out vote for the Uk in the future why are we not hearing from the EU that they want the uk to stay.

After all they need to make the uk feel wanted and needed in the UK .

I cant see how the EU could afford to lose one of its rich countrys while it keeps adding more poor companys into the EU. Meaning countrys like germany would be forced to pay more and more to support the poor countrys should the Uk leave.

No one wins if the Uk leaves. The poorer countrys lose a big chunk of their funding, The richer countrys take on a bigger financial burden and the Uk loses its major trading partner.

I accept The Uk cannot have everything it wants. And doesnt deserve special treatment. However this is politics if they are not willing to change or give anything however small then it cause alot of people to vote to leave the EU

Okay so i have a few questions as i've never claimed back tax, i was always told they paid it back if you overpaid but have never recieved a refund.

Basically many years i've been taxed as i work 100 + hr weeks, and dont work the rest of the year, so im under the personal tax allowance, but because i work so many hours in a week it looks like i will earn alot in a year, when infact i dont as i only work a few months of the year then live off those earnings.

1. Can i claim back national insurance aswell as income tax ?

2. How do i claim my refund ?

3. How far back can i claim ? (I need to claim back money from 2008 at the earliest and its roughtly £2,000 a year which is alot to me)(totally £10,000+ overall which is more than my yearly earning so its alot to me)

4. How do i work out how much tax refund im entitled too ? I know I should get one, but as i dont have records of my tax payments i do not know how much i paid.

5. Can i claim back tax for this year april 2013-april 2014 or do i need to wait ?

6. Are then any people who can help me with my tax refund? like somewhere i can go for help and advise.

7. How do i know if they paid back tax without me knowing ?

8. Finally how do i stop them claiming the incorrect emergency tax to avoid this issue every year, I send off p45s, recieved tax codes saying i wont be taxed, and still emergency tax is taken, I cant afford to wait years for tax that shudnt have been taken

I've been reading comments etc lately on the ukraine - russian crisis at the moment.

And 1 thing strikes me, other than the politicians, No one seems to care. Its like people couldnt care less if both countrys massacred each other. Because its not their country so who cares right ?

My question is this, how can people care so little, just because someone isnt a part of their immediate life doesnt their life matter ?

Is this in part responsible for the sad state of the world today people only care about themselves ?
