  • How long after a miscarriage did you get your first period back?

And did your cycles go back to how they were before your miscarriage? Or did they become irregular?

  • Dating scan shows I'm 8 days out and no heartbeat yet....?

I had a dating scan on monday which I thought (accordng to my LMP which was 3rd Jan) I would have been 6w 4d, but the scan showed baby to be only 5w 3d and no heartbeat. I know its very early to detect a heartbeat and not to worry about it at such an early stage, but does anyone know why my dates would be so far out? The U/S tech said everything else looked perfect and it was simply a matter of the dates being wrong - but why? Maybe im answering my own question but would it have something to do with possibly not ovulating in the middle of my cycle? This is my 2nd pregnancy and before my 1st child, my cycles were anywhere between 35 and 42 days and my daughters due date got changed 5 times. Since she was born though and I stopped brestfeeding and got my period back, my cycles have been 28-29 days. So again, my question is: Why would my dates be so far out if my cycles are 28-29 days long?

  • Sleep problems with my 17 month old... please help!?

My daughter has ALWAYS been a great sleeper - so much so that all my friends with babies were in awe of how well she sleeps. But now the tables have turned! Since she was about 15 months old, (she is now 17 months) she has been waking in the middle of the night and staying awake for anywhere between 2 and 4 hours a night. I probably only get 1 good nights sleep out of her every 10 nights or so. She isnt really waking and sounding like she is in pain from teething because she chats to herself and sings and claps in her room. But then the tiredness hits her and she'll turn grumpy and just start to whinge. I have tried to resist going into her in the hope she will self settle but this does not always work, and sometimes I am just simply THAT exhausted that I give in and i'll go and sit with her and pat her on the bum till she falls asleep. Sometimes her pacifier falls out and onto the floor and I have to go in anyway to give it back to her. Has anyone else been through this and what did you do to get bubs back into a good sleep routine at night? ATM, her routine is up at 8am, afternoon sleep from 1230-230 / 3pm and then bed time at 8pm. PLEASE HELP! Any suggestions will be muchly appreciated! Oh, and she has all her teeth except for her eye teeth and her 2yr molars. Thanks in advance!

  • Question about daytime sleeps...?

My daughter is 11months this coming weekend and has always been a good sleeper! (i'm lucky!) lately she has only been wanting her morning sleep though. So im just wondering at what age is it suitable for a baby to go from 2 sleeps during the day, down to 1 sleep. Thanks :)

  • Sorting through babys old clothes...?

What do most people do? I've sorted my daughters clothes out into sizes that don't fit her anymore and was just wondering what most people do - Do you donate the clothes to charity if they are still in good condition or have you hung on to the clothes in case your next baby is the same sex and you can re-use them? Some of the clothes have never been worn and even still have the tags on them.

  • how many day time sleeps does your baby get?

My baby is almost 10 months old and is starting to not want her 2nd daytime sleep. She sleeps about 11 hours at night (occasionally waking during the night when she is teething) and then has about a 2 hour sleep late morning. Like I said, she is starting to not want her late afternoon nap so I was just wondering if she is too young to go to one sleep a day, or is this ok, being that she sleeps so well during the night?

  • breastmilk vs. formula..... HELP!!?

my daughter is 7 months old and in terms of milk feeds (not solid feeds, she has 3 solid feeds a day) has only ever had breastmilk... I am due back at work in a couple of weeks so I wont be around to feed her sometimes so we tried her on a bottle of formula... she didn't want it. Plainly refused it. • Forgotten how to roll over?

My little girl is 6 months old and seems to have forgotten how to roll front to back. She first started to roll front to back at about 4 and 1/2 months old, then at around 5 months she rolled back to front. Now it seems as though every time she is on her tummy she cant get back over and she gets VERY frustrated. Does anyone have any tips on how I can coach her to roll both ways again?
