  • do i need to file taxes before joining army and what will i get paid monthly as an e1 with deductions?

ive never made more then 5000 a year in my life and for my first couple years of employment at two different jobs i filed them. but within the last year i have not filed for 2011 and know for a fact i did not make over 5000 probably under half of that because i was so busy. will i have to worry about it at basic or should i file them now? and im concerned that at basic when a month has passed ill only have made 260 or so ive read with deductions which makes me concerned at how much i will make annually. help please?
