I spent a year in Applied Physics last year and decided I want to take a year off to work and save up cash for tuition , and then enroll into a full-time program again. I haven't decided between Math or Physics but as the syllabi are nearly identical for at least the first year I was going to continue in Physics and see where that takes me. I love the problems provided in these fields and spend a lot of my spare time generally looking for any new info I can find(mainly good documentaries) , then look at every day problems and see what can be applied where. Most of my friends are now graduating and a few have already started working on their Masters. Is 22 too old to begin pursuing such a field or can I afford to study alone while I work up the capital and then jump in head first?
