This may be a shot in the dark, but I thought I'd ask here because Im sure I can get some advice for some of the questions.

2 weeks ago I dislocated my left patella. This is the third time this has happened but the last time was 7 years ago and I can't remember much.

This is the first time the knee cap didn't go back in place by itself, had to have the E.R. doctor put it back.

I'm in a straight immobilizing brace and I remember the last 2 times I had one, I wore it about 7 weeks. (The orthopedist I saw this time gave me no advice on what to do at all.)

The difference in this injury as opposed to the other 2 is that I have no stability in my leg now. I cannot lift it at all. I can't put any weight on it. Last time I was able to walk on it in a day or two with the brace on. The only way I get around the house is by walker (where I drag my left foot) and a wheelchair.

The pain isn't too bad, but the instability makes me nervous. I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience being unable to lift it or move it in any way.

I know I need to do some quad exercises but I can't remember when I should start really working on those.

Also, I'm 9 months pregnant and due to give birth in 2 weeks (induction). I'm very nervous about not having mobility and wondering if anyone gained mobility soon after this injury. (I know everyone's recovery is different, just asking for hope).

I intend to look for a better orthopedist but my insurance takes a while to process referrals. Surgery any time soon is not an option due to the pregnancy and nursing.

Anyone know when I may be able to move just a little on my own?

I had my first appointment the other day. I came in thinking I was around 7 weeks. My LMP was Oct. 12 and according to that I should be due July 19.

During my ultrasound, she told me that I was really over 8 weeks and that my edd was July 10th. It wasn't until I got home and figured it up that I realized that means I got pregnant Oct. 8th. How is that possible if I had a period Oct 12?

I know it's possible to have a period during pregnancy but my period before that was September 12th and I know when I ovulated in Sept. I just don't get it...

I don't know if this is reason to worry or if I'm being paranoid or what but here's my question.

Saturday I took a First Response test and got a very dark "pregnancy line" and a faint control line. Sunday I took one and got pretty much the same result.

Today I took the last one just for fun and I got a darker control line and a faint pregnancy line. What's up? Is this reason to worry? I have my first doctors appointment next week so I thought I would just ask on here until then.

Hi I've been having light cramping, sore breasts, nausea and dizziness that comes and goes and I'm having some weird vaginal discomfort. I am 2 1/2 days late.

I have been off the pill for a year now and so many times I thought I was pregnant and I was not so I'm afraid to get my hopes up.

Should I take a pregnancy test today or wait?

I am 6 days late.

I took a pg test yesterday and it was bfn. I know that it can take longer to read positive, but I was just impatient.

In your experience, how long should I wait to take another?

And also, what do you do to keep your mind off it while you wait?

Ok maybe I'm not understanding this but everything I have read says that you ovulate 12-14 days after your af. When I use an ovulation calculator online, it says I should ovulate a few days after af. What is going on? Am I not understanding this?

I have some ovulation test strips but I don't want to use them every day of the month because they are kind of expensive.

My af usually lasts 3 days.

Can anyone straighten me out? Thank you so much!

I had my last period Oct. 21.

On Oct. 26th and 27th I had unprotected sex. I know I was not ovulating. I charted it and I should have been ovulating around Nov. 1st but I couldn't test then because I was camping.

I had sex again Nov. 5th and 7th.

I have very tender breasts and slight nausea.

I don't know what to think. Seems too early to be having any symptoms. Too early to test. Any ideas?

My husband recently came home from Iraq.

We have only been married a year and for 10 of those months, he was overseas.

He is going to be re-enlisting soon and we will either be stationed somewhere in the United States or overseas, like to the UK or something.

He will be 30 in a couple of years and is in a hurry to have a baby soon.

As of right now, we are living with my parents until he re-enlists and we move, which will only be in a month or so.

He is asking me to get pregnant now, because soon we will be where we are going and he wants to start a family as soon as possible.

The problem is, he told me that if we go overseas, we can do all this traveling all over Europe and I don't want to do that with a baby.

I told him this so now he's just wanting to move somewhere in the US.

I am only 21 years old and while I realize he's almost in his 30's, I would like to have a married life with him before we start a family!

Right now I think he's mad at me because he wants to have a kid before he's too old to enjoy it.

I guess I've lead him on because I really do want one now also, but then I'm afraid to just go for it when we don't know what our future holds.

Any advice?

Does anyone have any advice on how to contact a celebrity for permission to use their name in a memoir I am writing?

Specifically, I need to get in contact to Interscope Records and I am not sure how to do that or what to say or who to ask!

I have read that it is legal to use celebrity names but I don't know how he would feel in the context I plan to use him and I'd prefer to not get sued by my favorite celebrity.

I think I need to be more specific.

Do you think, that reading a book by Friedrich Nietzsche or something of that sort, and being a Christian, will eventually change you?

Is thinking that you will not be changed by listening to music or reading a book, etc, deemed blasphemous will eventually make you a bad person, or in time make you question your own beliefs?

Are you a bad person if you, say read a book about something you don't agree with? Say a Christian reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche?

Or looking at the Piss-Christ photograph?

What do you do when you have writers block? I am getting so frustrated!

I am writing my memoir about my past abusive relationship that lead to meth addiction. First, I am wondering if it is ok to use real first names. I have researched this and am getting conflicting answers. I'm wondering your opinions.

Also, I am wondering how to start the book. I would like it to be known that I was a very good kid growing up. I never once got in trouble at school or at home and all of this happened suddenly. I want to begin with something to hold the readers interest but not reveal too much in the beginning. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

My husband is deployed. I found a new friend on his myspace page, single and 7 years younger than him (she's the same age as me). I asked him about it and at first he said he didn't know what I was talking about and must have been hacked. Then he says he thinks he remembers her. She added him and he accepted. He use to tell me he wouldn't add anyone he doesn't know. He has no idea why I don't feel comfortable with this. Am I just jealous and crazy?
