Instead of using the link to email me, just send it to ectypaltheologia@yahoo.com. It's easier than the message system through the link.

  • Know This Old PC Space-Themed Game?

    Hi,

I'm trying to remember the name of an old PC game that I used to play as a kid. I think it was around 1998 or earlier. You were the commander of a space ship and you flew from planet to planet. One planet had a city or bar called "Purple Haze." On the ship, there was this guy that would talk to you on a screen. All you could see was his face, I think, and it was all messed up looking. Like his face was melted.

Anyone know what game I'm talking about?

  • Question on syllogistic logic: wffs?

Gensler states in his Into to Logic book that the following is an incorrect wff:

    Not all P is Q

I dont see why this is incorrect. Isn't it equivalent to "some P is not Q", which is correct? Does Gensler say it is incorrect simply because it has to be in the exact form?

  • Setting Linksys to 802.11a?

I have a Linksys Wireless-G router (WRT54G version 2) and would like to switch it to 802.11a. Can anyone tell me how?

I've seen this question asked a few times, but haven't seen anyone actually answer the question. Instead, people respond with "Why would you want to?" or some explanation about how b and g can communicate but not a and b (or something like that). That's fine, but doesn't answer the question: Can I switch the router to 802.11a and if so, how?

  • How do I show the address bar in Internet Explorer?

I was typing something in internet explorer and I hit some combination of keys that made the adress bar (and favorites bar etc.) disappear. They pop up when I hover my mouse, but I want them to stay there... what do I press to get it back?
