  • Should individual states have more power over immigration?

We are seeing this to some extent--with some cities being more lenient towards illegal immigration and giving them ID cards, and turning a blind eye to the illegal immigration, "sanctuary cities" and others reinforcing federal laws and implementing E-Verify. Do you think this would help or hurt the country?

  • What do you think of illegal immigrants/migrant workers IN Mexico?

We don't hear much about this, but Mexico's southern border is an entry point for Central Americans to work, usually illegally in Mexico. This is a chain reaction of Mexicans leaving jobs in Mexico to go to the U.S. and Central Americans from poorer countries going to Mexico.

I would especially like some of the "pro-illegals" to respond because the Central Americans are just doing jobs that the "Mexicans don't want." So does that prove that there are some jobs there for Mexicans that are not being done by Mexicans because they are coming here to the U.S?

  • What would you do if the company you worked at were hiring undocumented workers?

This is the scenario: you work as the payroll director for your company. Your boss gives you a list of new hires. Your company does not have e-verify--your boss doesn't want it. You look at some of the paperwork and suspect that some of these workers are illegal immigrants. What do you do? If you tell your boss you might get fired because maybe he already suspects they are illegal but doesn't care.
