I have a question for anyone who has attended or is currently attending college.

What is your policy on attending class, assuming that attendance is not mandatory? Do you still attend, or do you think that it is not worth attending and instead just study the material independently?

Lately I've been missing a lot of my classes in which attendance is not mandatory, mainly because I don't really get much out of the lectures and usually lose focus. Instead I've just been studying a lot and going over all of the material/doing the assignments covered in class. My grades haven't really fallen or anything, and I feel like I'm covering the material much more efficiently, but despite this I still feel really guilty for skipping class. I feel like I'm missing out on some sort of experience, even though it's just a man talking for an hour behind a podium.

What are your thoughts? Should I change my habits, or is what I'm doing okay? What are your personal experiences with college attendance?

I just graduated from high school and am thinking about getting a job this summer before heading off to college. The problem is, the college I'm attending is about an hour away from where I live, so I would have to quit my job once school starts. Additionally, school starts on August 3rd, and I'm going to have to take a week off for an academic competition in Florida and another week off to get my wisdom teeth removed, effectively leaving me with only 5 weeks that I can work. Should I even try to get a job at this point, or should I just enjoy my summer and maybe do some volunteer work?

At the end of every school year, our school puts on a talent show, which is usually very popular and attended by many students. I am a senior and have been playing piano for about 4 1/2 years, and I would like to play in the talent show. Not very many people know that I play piano, so my hopes are to impress the masses, and have something that people will remember me by after I graduate. However, I do not know what song I should play, hence my search for suggestions from you guys. The song does not have to be contemporary, although I would prefer to play something that people will recognize. Additionally, I would prefer to play something upbeat and rapid, rather than something slow and boring. A compilation is also a possibility. Thank you so much!

Today, my uncle found an unopened Xbox Live Starter Kit in his attic, and he gave it to me. However, it was made for the ORIGINAL Xbox, and I have the Xbox 360. Will it still work and give me 12 months of Xbox Live on my Xbox 360, or is it only usable on the Original Xbox?

In order to get this achievement, which is earned by completing the campaign on Hardened or Veteran difficulty, do you have to play the levels in order, or can you do them in any order as long as you complete them all?

Alright, so as of April, or sometime around then, Microsoft released an update (which I received) that let you use USB Flash Drives as Memory Units on the Xbox 360. However, today I was playing Halo:Reach (system link multiplayer and co-op campaign) and Gears of War 2 (system link Horde and Versus) using my Flash Drive to save my game. However, when I got home to my Xbox, I looked on my Flash Drive and it had no saved game progress for either of the two games. Do they save their content directly onto your Gamertag, or did I mess something up?

After seeing Microsoft unveil the new Xbox 360 Slim, I realized that I must have it. The only problem is, the Xbox 360 Slim comes with a 250GB hard drive, which I really want to keep. However, I already have an Xbox 360 Pro with a 60GB hard drive already half full. How do I transfer my memory from one hard drive to the other? Thanks.

Yesterday at the E3 conference, Microsoft finished up their presentation by revealing the Xbox 360 Slim. Although it looks like someone stepped on it, the Xbox 360 Slim is slightly smaller and sleeker in design, and is "whisper-quiet" when running (no more of that buzz-saw sound coming from your Xbox). Also, the Slim has a 250GB hard drive, and comes with built in free wifi. As a final bonus, it comes specially designed for Xbox Kinect (previously known has Project Natal), which will be released around the holidays.

The price of the Xbox 360 Slim is $300. Right now I have an Xbox 360 Pro, with Xbox live. Should I get the Xbox 360 Slim?

Alright, so in MW2 I primarily use the ACR. However, every time I play, I am always unsure of which weapon attachment to equip to it: the heartbeat sensor or the silencer. The heartbeat sensor allows you to see your enemies, but the silencer keeps your enemies from seeing you...however, the heartbeat sensor can easily be bypassed if the enemy is using Ninja as a perk. What's your opinion? What should I use?

If I am correct, GTA: episodes from liberty city was released today. It looks like a good game, and I am considering getting it. I have one question though for someone that has bought it already: if you buy the game (GTA: episodes from liberty city), can you still play the original storyline of GTA IV (the one with Niko), and is the city that you can roam about in the same as in the original game?

So, overall, my basic question is that if you buy GTA: episodes from liberty city, is it the same as just buying GTA IV and buying The lost and the damned and the ballad of gay tony off of of xbox live?
