Hi can any one tell me how many hours u ave to work before u are entitled to a lunch break, and if poss how long u r entitled too please

my grandaughter wakes up bout 4/6 times through the night, sometimes for a drink other times she just cries out, any suggestions to help her sleep better???????? and why she is still waking up so much??????? she used to sleep right through until she got a nasty cold, and this has been going on for about 6 months now, she is 18 months old

i live over an hours drive away from my workplace, in a small village out in the sticks, i managed to get to work today, but got told "if i don't get in tomorro cos of the snow, i may be sacked". I work for a very big company, and cannot believe i could be sacked through the weather, i start work at 6 am so ave to leave at 4.00 am, when at that time the roads may be really bad........ any one got any answers to wether the company can sack me through this...... thanks

hi i bought this phone at xmas and all of a sudden my bluetooth has stopped working. It just won't acctivate any more, i need to know if there is a simple cure to get it working as i do use it for when i am driving, but can't at the moment. Any clues anyone????????

when i put the clutch in i get a shrieking noise, it goes into gear ok, and the clutch dont seem to be slipping, but 2 days ago the noise was really loud, and there was a burning smell,(hence i aint drove it since!!) do you think it is the clutch gone, and how much they are, i am weiry of mechanics in case i get ripped off, thats why i am asking for advice first, please genuine answers only if you are sure what the problem may be thanx

My husband is divorced and has 2 children 19 & 17 now,when they split up in 1994 he was paying her money each week (cash in her hand) the CSA then got involved and he had to prove that he had been paying her, which he did, and the arrears that they put him in was reviewed, now this week he has got a letter from them saying he has arrears dating back to 1994/1995, although he paid it every week to the csa, my question is,,,,can they go back 13 years knowing full well that he can't prove what he paid, and now start demanding the money, as they have gone straight to his firm and stopping the money weekly from his wages

I am trying to find out who sings the disco/dance version of COUNTRY ROADS, it is played in alot of clubs & pubs abroad thanx i have looked on some music sites but i don't know who the artist is....

what would you do if you knew some-one who works at the same place as you, was helping themselves to stock, without paying, have reported to the manager already but this person still gets away with it, and now found out that certain customers are getting things for free too. I have confronted the person before but with no joy,

the person does not work the same shifts as me but i don't want to be a suspect for stock loss.

I have heard he is at wembley in november, and i have been trying to get a ticket but no-where has got them, radio 2 is advertising the concert, but i just need help in obtaining a ticket. I have tried the web site and other ticket sellers, but with no joy.

why is it that if you use your own debit card abroad, the banks charge you, at the end of the day it is our own money but you get charged twice if you withdrawer money abroad, my daughter was charged about £20 each time she used her card.

we have just received a letter from them saying my husband owes arrears but when he was assessed last he was told he had a nil assessment meaning he never had to pay. now after nearly 5 years they say he is in arrears and stopping money from his wages can they do this after so long, his children are 19 & 17 yrs old please help with advice thanx
