  • What size steering wheel cover should I buy for my 2006 kia rio?

I recently purchased a 2006 kia rio as my first car and would like to put a cover on the steering wheel since it's just hard plastic. However, everywhere I've looked only has steering wheel covers for a 14.5" steering wheel and that's too big. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • Is it fair to see someone else when you're still in love with your ex?

I'm in college and met my ex last spring. Granted, much of our relationship was long distance when we went home over the summer, but I do believe that we developed a deep emotional connection because of the distance. When we came back to school in the fall, he started acting very strange. First he told me that he thought he loved me, and then he grew distant and eventually stopped talking to me completely. I initially attempted reaching out to him but gave up and tried to move on. The problem is, I would run into him at parties (I go to a relatively small school) and we'd start flirting again. We even spent a night together, though we didn't have sex or anything like that. Then in January, when I was seeing someone else, he drunkenly admitted to still having feelings. He told me that the reason he stopped talking to me was that he got scared. I know he's had rough relationships in the past and is afraid of commitment. It's been 8 months since we broke up, but I can't get over him because he keeps contacting me out of the blue. Last week we even started talking about maybe doing a friends with benefits situation. I'm just so confused. I've been seeing other guys and I don't want to lead them on, yet at the same time, I don't want to be waiting around for when my ex feels like talking to me. I've always been honest with the other guys and told them that I don't want a relationship, but I still feel bad. Part of me really cares about my ex and wants to be with him, and another part of me wants to start over with someone else. Though in perfect honesty, I've never felt the same connection with any of these other guys as I do with my ex. The guy I'm seeing now is nice and wonderful and should be my type, but no spark. What should I do? Is it fair to see other guys when I still love my ex? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  • horse's urine causing yellow spots in pasture?

We have several yellow spots in our pasture and think it might be from our horse's urine. Is that possible? If yes, should we be concerned for his health? I don't think they're from another animal because they are fairly big (horse sized) and we have fencing around the perimeter. We've been having a lot of rain, though that's not unusual for Washington; and we feed alfalfa hay, beet pulp, oats and flax.

  • What classes should I take if I want to become a teacher?

I'm in Running Start, so I should graduate with both my high school diploma and my associates. I plan on talking to my counselor too, but I was just wondering what classes you think would be wise to take. I want to teach English at the high school level. Also, is it possible to be certified to teach multiple subjects? I know the Math and Science fields are in need of more teachers. Would it be possible to become certified to teach English and Biology? If yes, what courses would help me reach that goal? Thanks!

  • Is it worth it to become an English teacher?

I've wanted to be a teacher since second grade. English has always been my favorite subject, so I'm seriously thinking about teaching English at the high school level. My only concern is that I'm not sure if I will be able to get a job. I know teachers in the Math and Science fields are in more demand. Will I still have a good chance of getting hired as an English teacher, or should I compromise and pursue a different subject? Thanks.

  • Stock pin, monogram, or ____ on collar? What do you use?

I was told today that stock pins are outdated, but I think they're adorable. What do you think? I know monograms are popular (for obvious reasons), and for the longest time I used an earring. It was all I had ::Shrugs:: These are all for the collar of the shirt in English show clothes. I'm just curious about what other people use. Its a small detail, but one of the few things we English riders can actually play with.

  • Can't decide which color coat would be best for hunter classes.?

Hi, I'm in the process of buying a new coat to show in. The problem is, I don't know which color to choose. I'm torn between light grey and navy. My horse is a palomino, and I think the lighter color would be complimentary, but I know navy is more traditional. I have both a white and a light purple (possibly lavender) shirt to wear with the coat. I show in hunt seat equitation and hunter over fences. What do you think?

  • Are there any guys out there that know of a book they liked with a female protagonist?

I'm having this little debate with my brother and thought you all could help. I'm saying girls are more likely to read a book with a MC of any gender because, well, we do. On the other hand, guys restrict themselves to books with other dudes as the MC. What do you think?

  • Does anyone know of any good fantasy books about elves/fairies?

I'm working on a story and want to see what else is out there. My story is middle grade or upper middle grade, but I'd like to know about Young Adult books as well.

  • How do you like a story to begin?

I keep going back to the beginning of the story I'm working on and would really appreciate any help. Should I jump straight into the story and spread out background info throughout, or should I give some details before getting started?

The protagonist is a 12 year old girl and the story is fantasy fiction. Its probably safe to say that my target audience will be middle grade or upper middle grade girls. I'm including this info in case it makes a difference.

  • Would you be more likely to read a middle grade (8-12) or young adult (12 and up) book?

I've found myself hesitant to read young adult books, but have no problem if its a children's book. The Harry Potters series would be the one exception to that rule. Of course, the series began as mg and progressed to ya. I know there are good ya books. I have just found so many of them to be rather ridiculous (more about the heroin's love life and not a story), that I tend to write them off. What do you think? Do you actively seek out mg or ya books (not from good reviews, but on your own)?

  • Are children's books losing their popularity now that more Young Adult books are being published?

I noticed that more kids (independent readers, usually 10 or older) are starting to read books that would be considered young adult in my opinion. I know the Harry Potter series is popular, but even it is read by teens. I'm not sure whether this is because of the fact that children like to mimic their older siblings, or because there are a limited number of books for that age group. Another option might be that there are not enough chapter books for that age group that are challenging and mature enough. What do you think? Do you find there are enough books out there for this age group?
