My family is having a Halloween party this year, the only twist is that you can't wear a store bought costume. What would you suggest?

I do believe in the paranormal, but I do not believe that a lot of what's out there should be classified as such. I usually do not share my views on this board because I rarely feel like being attacked because of my opinion.

My question for you guys is this: Are there any others out there like me?

How can someone with psychic ability "read" someone over the internet? I've seen tons of people put questions out here for psychics to answer, but can it actually be done? Besides the screen name, all you have on the net to go by is the way the person phrases their question. Isn't that just being a cold reader?

I was talking to my best friend the other day and she was telling me about some stuff that was going on in her house. I was wondering if anyone would give me their take on what they think really happened. I don't really think it's paranormal, but in case someone knows something I don't I thought I'd post it.

Her back door is hard to close, every time I've seen her husband shut it he puts some muscle into it. She said that one night he came in, shut the door, and locked it. A few minutes later she said she happened to look up and saw it slowly opening. She got a little freaked about it. She said that when she shut it, she noticed that the door knob was still locked.

There have been some other strange things that she's discribed to me, but I'm not sure this one's anything to worry about.

So what do you think, did her hubby not get the door shut properly? Or could there be something else going on there?

Please explain to me why people take dozens of pictures of themselves!! I don't understand the concept of having tons of pictures of you holding the camera over your head or taking pictures of yourself in a mirror.

We just adopted a dog about a week ago, he was very well trained and appears to have been raised as a "lap dog". He is a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix and he is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. The only toy we have been able to get him to play with is a stuffed Teddy Bear that squeaks. Does anyone have any suggestions about what types of toys to introduce next and how to introduce them to him? I've never had a dog before and I'm clueless!!

I have a fairly big allergy to nickel. It's so bad that I can't drink from aluminum cans, wear regular deoderant, or handle my cross-stitching needles bare handed. I even have to wear plastic framed glasses, because if the exposed wire on the other kind touches my face I will react to it.

All that being said, if my reaction is just sever itching and burning (not a rash), would it be inadvisable to getting a tattoo? I also have many other allergies, so it would a safe assumption that I could be allergic to the ink as well. Does anyone know if there is a way that I can find out, without getting a full tattoo?

I've just discovered that I like classical music. I want to start buying some cd's but I don't know what compossers to try. I know I like some stuff from Vivaldi, but I'm clueless beyond that. Any suggestions?
