  • Dell XPS M170 hard drive replacement?

    My uncle gave me an old DELL XPS M170 laptop and it functions fine, I can get into BIOS and the DELL logo boots up just fine, I proceeded to open up the laptop a bit and check the RAM sticks, they're both 1gb HYNIX RAM sticks. (2gb ram installed) and the motherboard is all intact. I went to check the hard drive and noticed there was nothing to the HDD slot. I rummaged around my room and found an old Hitachi 160gb hard drive and wanted to know if it was compatible, the Hitachi came from an old Acer Extensa 5230e. Is it compatible? or do I have to buy a new hard drive?

  • Best coding software to use?

    Hello.

    I am a fairly experienced coder/developer. I began coding PHP and HTML with Notepad++, I then moved to SublimeText and have been using it ever since, I love the UI and autofinish feature. Please leave your suggestions below. I code mainly PHP, SQL, CSS and HTML.
