I'm being induced tomorrow, day after christmas. what are they going to do to induce me? how long does labor usually take from that point?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and having mild to medium contractions and they are starting to come pretty regularly about every 20 minutes. what did it feel like before you went into labor? how long after mild contractions started did it take before you went into labor?

My boyfriend and I have decided on the name Avise pronounced ah-veese. I think its pretty but one of my friends said its ghetto. what do you think? be honest please!

I am having a baby due at the end of december and I really dont want to have to take a whole maternity leave just because my work is so flexible with my schedule. which is why I think I can do it. how long does it take to recover from giving birth? hopefully I will be able to deliver vaginally and not have to have a c-section. is it realistic to ask to come back about 2 weeks after giving birth?

Tomorrow is my first doctors appointment since I got pregnant. What will they do? Im only 18 and waited a long time to tell my parents so I am probably around 20 weeks pregnant. whats going to happen tomorrow?

I know Im pregnant and I have waited a lot longer than I should have to go to the doctor but I'm finally going to suck it up and go on monday. Will my regular doctor be able to do an ultrasound? I have no idea what ob/gyn to go to but I will ask for a recommendation from my doctor while I am there. What will happen when I go in on monday?

I know for a fact that I am pregnant. I made an appointment for tomorrow at a pregnancy crisis center just to get help and be told what to do next since I dont have insurance. what do they do there? I know that first I have to take a pregnancy test but what will they ask me? and I know if they feel like they need to they will do an ultrasound. do you think they will for me? I just need somebody to tell me whats going to happen lol. thank you!

my baby is due in january and I dont know if its a boy or girl yet but my boyfriend and I have plenty of girl names picked out. I need more ideas for boy names though. here are the ones I have already thought of but except for naming him after his dad I'm not impressed by any names that we have thought of.

I am 18 years old and my boyfriend who is 21 and I just found out that we are having a baby. We have been together for quite a while and are both super excited for our baby to come. I have a really good job and I am starting college classes but he has no job at all. It feels like he isnt even trying to find a job and he isnt doing anything productive with his life. He sits at home and hangs out with his friends every day while I work 40 hours a week. I'm stressed out because I know that if I am the only one working, we will not be able to afford to not live with our parents once the baby comes. I am also stressed out from working so much and if he had a job I could cut my hours. How can I talk to him without him feeling like I'm attacking him? everytime I try to talk to him about it, we end up fighting. I just need a break from all the stress, our baby should be the most important thing right now. I just want him to grow up a little bit.

I havent had my period for 3 months and last week I took a hpt from the dollar store lol. It came out positive and I was just wondering how accurate they are. Im excited to have a baby and so is my boyfriend but I dont want to get my hopes up for no reason. I am only 18 though and still on my parents insurance and I dont wanna tell them until I know for sure. I just want to know if anybody has ever had a false positive or knows anybody who has and what would cause that? the positive test came up right away and it was 2 dark lines so i have no doubt that the test said it was positive.
