Emerald Valentine

Milk Snakes, Corn Snakes, King Snakes and Royal (Ball) Pythons. These are the best "beginner" snakes, but I've had experience with all of them on my animal management course and they just don't interest me. And I really disagree with the thought of buying one of the above just so I can use it as a step-ladder to reach the more intermediate-leveled snakes that am I genuinely interested in.

As such, I've been searching desperately for some beginner-friendly snakes that aren't included in the list above, but all I've found so far is the Woma Python. Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Preferably snakes that aren't teeny-tiny?
