  • Can a perfectly healthy person get a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order?

Can you only get one if you have a terminal illness?

Basically, if I fell down some stairs or got run over or something like that, I don't want to be revived.

Sorry if law & ethics is the wrong category for this question, I wasn't sure where to put it

  • Men's oppinion on marriage?

So I stumbled across a video on YouTube that was about reasons why marriage is bad for men.

The main point was that marriage is a long term move for a short term attraction.

The other main point was that women become manipulative, always trying to change their husbands.

Do all men feel this about marriage?

  • iPod difficulties, new update, won't sync- PLEASE HELP?

I got my iPod touch forth generation two years ago and I've never synced it until now- I know you're meant to do it regularly but I was just too lazy. So it said that for it to update it would be a good idea to sync/back it up- which I did. I did the update to IOS 6.0.1 and then restored from update.

But when I went on my iPod, my apps and music were missing- everything else was there- my internet search history, my notes, my photos were all there. So I synced it and tried restoring it form the back up again but nothing changed. I thought I might just have to do it through the iPod itself so I went into iTunes store > purchased and all my songs were listed there and I tried to see if it was the same in app store but it crashed so I couldn't find out.

I asked my friend the next day and she said that I needed to 'restore factory settings'- so I went into settings > general > reset and clicked 'erase all content and reset settings' but then it wouldn't let me sync- it was greyed out so I 'restored backup' and synced it but when I went into it, it was just the same as it had been except my photos were gone. So I thought I'd try just reset settings but nothing changed again. In my iTunes library, all my apps and music is on there but when I try sync it or transfere my purchases it says that it's done it but nothing changes.

I don't know what else to do and I'm not very good with this sort of thing. Please help, what have I done wrong and how can I sort it out?

  • Work experience- need to know ASAP?

I want to work in the navy either when I complete my A-levels or university. I'm about to do work experience, any suggestions on what I should do?

I emailed my nearest navy careers centre about work experience but they haven't replied.

  • Can reporters film you if you ask them to put the camera down?

Ok, so I was watching a news report thing and a reporter plus 2 camera men tried to interview someone who was being accused of a crime. The reporter did his classic shove the microphone into his face and said 'do you have anything to say about the crime you're being accused of?'

The guy being accused told the reporter and camera guys he didn't want to be filmed. When they kept filming and asking questions, the accused person told them repeatedly to put the camera down. They didn't and the guy attacked one of the camera guys and the reporter- he went to prison for assault.

But it got me thinking, do they have a right to film you even if you ask not to be and tell them to put the camera down?

Btw sorry the question's kinda wordy

  • Is it possible not to have a habit when bored?

You know when you're REALLY bored at a meeting or somewhere- some people bite their nails, some twirl their hair, some crack their knuckles? I was just wondering if you can sit somewhere without a thing to do for a long period of time, without doing a habit.

    Just curious

  • Should I have counselling for being a bad friend? ?

I wasn't having a bad day or anything and it's not like I was angry or upset.

My friend yanked my tie- she does this a lot and I always give a friendly punch back. She did this today and instead of a punch- I found myself giving her a slap on her cheek.

It wasn't that hard but she's very sensitive and delicate. She didn't cry or anything but it was obvious it hurt her bodily and mentally. She counts me as her closest friend because she's new to our school and I was the first friend she made.

I apologised afterwards but I had to think twice about it and I didn't feel bad about what I'd done.

I don't have anger issues or anything. I've had counselling before for family reasons.

And this is the first time I've slapped someone round the face.

Am I over reacting or do I need to do something about it?
