My friend and I are considering moving to LA next fall. Instead of spending a fortune on college we'd attend community college until we could transfer. In the meantime wed get an apartment and get jobs [we both have had jobs before.] Im asking for any advice about moving to LA, apartments jobs etc... We are obviously rigorously researching on our own but any additional resources would be much appreciated!

I have a mac from 2009 and and an iphone 3gs. I recently updated my iphone and now it says I can't use itunes!? I can still connect it to iphoto and charge it but is there any way to make my itunes work without buying a new computer?

I broke my thumb and had surgery last friday and am in a cast. I've never worn one before so I'm concerned I'm doing something wrong. Every once in a while if I move my arm one way or another I feel for a tiny amount of time a lot of pain and its scary because I want it to heal right. Logic tells me the cast is preventing me from doing ANYTHING that could harm my thumb but I'm still concerned as I'm new to this kind of stuff.

This girl has a boyfriend but we are pretty flirty with each other and I dunno if she likes me or not (don't know if this is important). Anyway its her bday tomorrow and today she lost a pair of earbud headphones. Shes also going on a flight in 2 days (headphones important). So should I give her a pair of earbuds I have lying around? Or would it be a bit strange? Im open to either option I dont wanna weird her out but if its an opportunity to "win her over" then im in.

I'm 17 years old and a junior in high school. Had a dead beat daddy who beat the **** out of me as I stayed to try and save him from his alchohlic behavior but finally I left after many years in with my mom. In a nutshell I love her but only because of the sacrafices shes made for me. She has an awful memory but can support herself, has an a hole boyfriend too. She (and obviously my dad) has told me to kill myself, and she has also threatened to kill herself because of me. The problems I cause (keeping quiet to myself and not talking much). I try everything to make her happy and I don't drink smoke cause trouble, anything. I also have decent grades. It just doesn't work between us. She has encouraged me to move out and I do have 2 choices if I do, a father figure who I know very well and a good friend.

So when is it finally time to leave? If it is, how do I do it? I don't think the problem would be with my mom not wanting me to leave, she encourages it, but how could I possibly ask someone if I can live with them?

Ok, so im pretty new to facebook so i dont get it that well (just saying). So this new girl came here from Arizona and after 2 weeks weve become decent friends. I told her one day I had a facebook so she jumped at this and added me instantly. Then a day later I checked my fb and read some random notification, but under it I saw another notification which I hadn't seen before (I don't think I wouldve even seen it if I didnt check). It said that this girl had listed me as family (trust me I read it like 30 times to make sure i wasnt ******* up, ive only known her for 2 weeks). So i clicked on the notification and it took me to a page where I could list what type of family member she was. I clicked sister and ya. So now when i type her name in the top it will say shes my sister underneath, and on my page it shows that shes my sister, but on her page I dont show up as her brother... Also I clicked my notifications again to check if I did it right and the notification wasn't there anymore... Did I accidently add her as a sister and she declined it or what? I really hope someone knows lol because I honestly read that she listed me as family and I dont wanna impose anything on her... Thanks

Hi, I'm a high school basketball player and hope to make it to college with the game. Like many others I've sprained my ankle, but this is the third time in the last year on my left ankle. I've also sprained my right one once, the most recent on my left hurt more then it ever has. I always wear ankle braces now when I play, and it's not too bad. I've been reading about scar tissue and things like that, so, is it smart to...

I live in Chicago so its cold, but I cant miss school. Ive got a basketball game on Sunday. Right now I'm just sore, and have a small cold (stuffy nose and cough). Other then sleep is there anything else I can do? Thanks alot
