An enemy of mine vandalized my car broke the windshield dented the side panels. I saw him do it and he broke his bat in half and left the broken piece at the scene. the cops found the other piece down the road. Is there any chance he may get away with this?

I have a drz400sm (supermoto bike) that does wonders in the city but really lacks every where else. If only it had about double the power it has now hahahaha. Trying to decide if i wanna sell my bike and follow the trend these days and get myself a gixxer. I have the skill thats not an issue. Not used to a heavy bike but i'm sure i'll get used to it after six months or so. They look cumbersome and not very streetable. can anyone with experience give me their thoughts on this? Am I going to have fun on a race bike like a light flickable drz? How do they feel on one wheel? stable and maneuverable? Please any thoughts would be GREAT.

Okay, so I am doing this small project for my C# class but ran into something that doesn't quite make since to me. Okay, here's the code i'll ask questions below.

There are other methods in the classes just no need to add them here. Okay, so basically when another method in the projects calls PlaceBet(8, 1); I need it to create a bet object with those variables(sorry if my jargon is off) so i suppose i would put under the PlaceBet method MyBet = new Bet() { Amount = Amount, Dog = Dog, Bettor = this }; I know that's wrong for sure. How can I set the Amount variable in the bet class to the same thing as the amount variable passed as a parameter to PlaceBet()? and what in the world is this Bettor Guy variable? Sorry if this post makes no since. But hey thanks to anyone willing to even try reading the damn thing.

Of course its not safe to run 170mph on a bike, but is it safe in the sense that if you hit a bump or a piece of gravel its not going to throw you? Are they stable at that speed? How fast is safe? And if you do wreck, will you more than likely just slide or tumble?

My xbox broke with the wonderful rrod and I fixed it with the xmod and heated up and what not. Two months later its broken again. tightened the screws that hold the heat sink down again and heated it up again with a blanket wrapped around it. Still doesn't work. Could It be the other components on the mother board? should i try a heat gun? any solutions to this?

Sorry I know i shouldn't be asking this on here. I know i'm lazy for not looking for the answer myself. I've been out of the whole xbox scene for a couple years. I got the rrod even after the xmod and poor broke me has been out of an xbox. Now good ole christmas is coming up and Santa might just bring me one. My questions:

1. Have the wonderful hackers out there found a way to play games off the hdd yet? (backups of course)

2. are the new xboxes capable of the dvd drive firmware crack?

3. any good website i can find some UP TO DATE info on this?

4. if the new xboxes cannot be cracked is there a chip that works with them (solder-less)? or does anyone know how to distinguish between the ones that are capable of being cracked?

I purchased an electronic boost controller (greddy profec spec 2) off craigslist and don't think it works but want to ask and make sure before I contact the seller. The controller reads boost pressure just fine, but it does not activate the valve unit solenoid. I've hooked a battery up to the solenoid and confirmed that it works. with the controller set at 100% I hooked a multimeter up to the valve unit solenoid leads and I get 0 volts when i rev the engine enough to make boost. Bad controller right?

Swapped an engine in my car and the turbo elbow which is made of cast iron does not quite clear the steering shaft of my car. Is it possible to heat the elbow up with a torch and smack it with a hammer or will this shatter it? I only need about 1/4 inch of clearance.

just installed some BC coilovers on my 240sx. I put in an rb25det engine which has added weight on the front of the vehicle.(probably an extra 150lbs) I believe i have 10k springs in the front and 8k in the rear. not 100% on that. I've installed adjustable camber arms with -1.5 in the front -1 in the rear. 0 toe and not sure about caster. Anyways it feels like my wheels are jumping off the ground sometimes on public roads at the speed limit. I hit 100mph for the first time today on a semi bumpy road in my neighborhood(private road. completely legal) and it felt like it was jumping all over the place. Scared me. My neighbors and I have tested other cars on this straightaway before at excess of 160 and felt completely fine. I feel like I have reduced the performance of my car by adding these coilovers. Could I have chosen the wrong spring rates? is my damper not adjusted correctly?

Is there any way I can load a file into memory for faster access? For example: (this is solely an example.) If I have 12Gbs of memory and I wanted to load a 4gb rar file into memory so when I use winrar my bottleneck will no longer be the disk, but the processor. Not sure if this is possible with windows or not. Linux maybe?

Alright guys I have a question and i'm very new to playing the guitar btw. I have a schecter diamond series guitar hooked up to some kind of pedal (not a cheapo one. was around $220) which is hooked up to a peavy bandit 112. (This is all 5-10 year old equipment) When I use distortion my playing sounds like noise. I mean TERRIBLE. But when I play clean guitar it sounds very good. I know it sounds like the pedal is the culprit, but i feel like its not. Could it be bad settings? any good website to show how to adjust amps and pedals? Would it be a good idea to take all the equipment by the guitar shop and have them find the problem for me? Or just any suggestions at all?

Alright so I am attempting to learn the guitar. I've been playing it for the past five months or so and have a pretty good feel for it. I've been playing bits of killswitch engage songs and haven't been progressing much lately. I'm only playing for twenty seconds or so then the exciting part of the song is over and then its just basic rhythm notes and the vocals take over. Maybe I have the wrong music. It is becoming work and I don't want to give up learning to play. It seems like I can't become part of the music. How can I get from where I am to actually loving to play the guitar and being able to "jam" and just play my emotions and no particular song? Or do I have the whole idea of playing the guitar wrong?

Okay, my laptop which is less than a year old with no warrenty will not turn on. When I say it won't turn on, I mean nothing at all happens when i press the power button. It was working this morning. I turned it off, then went to class, and now nothing. My battery is fully charged from this morning. The green led on my power brick lights up but when I plug it into the laptop it goes off. I tested the brick with a multimeter and it is working correctly. Is the mother board fried?

Hi, I am thinking about building a small relaxation "house" at a motocross track that I own. There is no way of getting Commercial power out there. What would be the best way to supply 24/7 power? I'll be running a/c or heater a tv refrigerator oven lighting maybe an xbox. ~2000 watts of constant power would make me happy. What is the most cost efficient setup I could run? Starting and running costs? Maintenance? Could solar panels plus lots of batteries do this by any chance?

Okay, I am in the process of wiring up my A/C in my 1995 240sx. I swapped a rb25det engine into it and now have to figure out how to get the a/c working. As of now I have the understanding of:

A/C switch -> rb25 ECU -> A/C relay -> A/C compressor. (please correct me if i'm wrong)

What I don't understand though is that there is a plug with four wires going into the A/C dryer. Anyone know what theses wires do or where they go? Are there any other wires or parts of the a/c system that i'm forgetting and need to be hooked up after the swap?

The old ka24 ecu had three A/C wires, but two of them are the same color. The rb25 ecu only has two wires, one for the a/c switch and one for the relay I BELIEVE.

Any help would be Absolutely amazing.

No disrespect to the honda owner but why are there so many modified civics? There are even non-ricer turboed civics! I just don't understand why you would want to put that money into a front wheel drive car. I guess they are rather light, but there are lots of light cars that are cheaper than a civic. I understand the parts are cheap and easy to come by, but its because there are so many that the parts are cheap and common. Is there something i'm not seeing here?

Hi, I just took up the hobby of fermenting and distilling my own alcohol. This is the result of my wife telling me I have too much time on my hands. To start off, I am only fermenting a water and sugar mix. I am using a pot still with a 1 foot flexable silicone hose from lowes coming off of the pot which goes to my copper piping condensor for easy connecting and disconnecting. Could this hose be the reason the alcohol is giving me stomach pains a few hours after drinking? I took three shots worth over a couple of hours. I would like to get this down to a T so I can start trying to make actual types of alcohol. I really don't want to give up on this. Thanks

What would an officer normally do if he were to catch two or more cars street racing? If one ran would he follow the guy who runs or call ahead for him and stay with the other car? If both cars try to run who does the officer chase? Whoever appears to have the slower car? Will he radio into a neighboring county if he didn't see you cross the county line?
