If a woman had a years-long affair with a man that is cheating, is it possible for them to just be friends?
The man lied to her for six months, then she found out he wasn't actually single. Then when she found out she still was involved with him off and on for 3 years sexually. Now they've become "just friends," but very close friends. No sex, but they rely on each other in many ways emotionally. Is this a healthy relationship, and should a boyfriend be ok with this woman continuing to be friends with this man (whose girlfriend never found out, is still with him, and he isn't sorry that he slept with the woman originally mentioned)?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoImportant: Girlfriend lied badly to me, how should I handle this?
My girlfriend gave me her password to facebook, and me being a stupid curious person with apparently trust issues I had a boring night where I looked at her messages. I realize this was wrong, but it happened and I can't take it back. I told her immediately that night because I felt guilty, and I know it was wrong to invade her privacy...What I found out is that her best friend (a guy), was actually an ex, and not only was he an ex, but that their entire relationship had been him cheating on his girlfriend. The relationship part went on for 6 months or so, then my gf would sleep with him off and on with sometimes long periods between. She knew about his girlfriend after a few months, and yet still slept with him (saying now that she felt terrible about it). That ended about a year and a half before she met me, according to her. In the present, she texted with him quite a bit, and went over to his house at least twice that I know about. She never hid that from me, but she did lie repeatedly and to my face when I asked if they'd ever had a sexual relationship of any kind...They were just good friends. When I confronted her, she cried and got sick and told me it was true and that she has wanted to tell me for a long time but was afraid because I have high standards and would not have liked her being friends with him (which is true...cheating repeatedly in a relationship implies a serious lack of character and I don't want my girlfriend alone with someone who apparently has a hold over her), She said they truly were only friends and she didn't want to upset me (like lying wouldn't),
As of right now, she is extremely sorry for lying to me about their history, but sees nothing wrong on the face of it for spending time alone--always alone--with an ex that showed such a lack of character and kept dragging her down. She sees nothing wrong with having spent time alone at his house, because she "never cheated or did anything with him." The ex's girlfriend still does not know her boyfriend ever even cheated or had a relationship with my gf either. It is still a secret, as is their entire friendship.

I've already done the paperwork at the tag agency (DMV), so I'm wondering at what point I can expect it in the mail, because I'll be going on vacation in a couple weeks.
4 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoHow does stretching a motorcycle affect it's performance and handling?
I am looking at a 1988 Yamaha FZR600 that has been stretched and lowered. I would like to know how stretching it affects the perfomance, such as braking, stability, handling, and whatever else I may not be thinking of.
7 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoI am looking to buy a Kawasaki Ninja 250 or 500. Will they be big enough for me to ride comfortably?
I am 6'1" and about 185 pounds. I don't want to be cramped or whatever, and I've heard from some people that Ninjas are for smaller people...
5 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoWhat do you know about Hyosung motorcycles?
I am looking to buy a 250cc sportbike, so I have been checking out the different models. The best seems to be the Ninja 250, from what I've been hearing. But, recently I saw the Hyosung GT250R, and it's just a beautiful bike as well as having more HP, and being bigger (I'm tall) than the Ninja 250. I would like to hear from any owners, or people that know owners, about the reliability, handling, and performance from this bike. I know that it is a Korean company, somewhat new, but not much else. Thanks in advance.
